I like that Paychex is easy for accountants to pick up on quickly, even if they've never used the software. I like that the reporting features allow me to modify existing reports and even create my own reports to access the information I need. I also appreciate that Paychex handles our payroll taxes for us, including state UI taxes, federal and state withholding taxes, FICA, and employer taxes. The tax amounts withheld are based on federal and state laws, as well as the employees' federal and state withholding forms on file. Paychex withholds the taxes from the employee paychecks, file the payroll tax returns on our behalf, and also sends the funds on our behalf. I would appreciate having a specific representative with his/her contact information.
