"Intuitive Role-Based Vaults with Reliable Self-Hosting and Solid SSO"

What do you like best about Passwork?

The role-based vault structure, with both shared and private vaults, keeps permission management clean and predictable. Our end users found it intuitive, so adoption was straightforward and didn’t require much hand-holding. LDAP integration takes care of user provisioning and deprovisioning automatically, and the SAMLv2 support meets our SSO requirements. The API is well documented and genuinely usable in practice. Self-hosted deployment was important for us, and it has been running reliably on our own infrastructure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Passwork?

The major version upgrade we performed included API breaking changes, which required updating integrations. The upgrade process for native Linux deployments is also more involved than it should be, with several manual steps. That said, we haven't tested the containerized deployment yet, which may well be a smoother experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Passwork solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our previous solution lacked a proper web interface and had limited MFA options. Moving to Passwork gave us a centralized, web-based solution with proper multi-factor authentication, role-based access control, and integration with our existing LDAP and SSO infrastructure — things that simply weren't viable before.
