My favorite part about Owler is that it runs in the background on my browser. So I can start recording a meeting and still do other things on my computer without interrupting the transcription. With other competitors, when I left my internet browser, the recording would stop, which was super frustrating. I also like the fact that it connects to my Outlook calendar, so it knows what meeting I am in without me being distracted by typing a bunch of info at the top of the call. Finally, I love that it summarizes the call and organizes it by topic so I can quickly go back and reference specific points of the meeting. The search feature also works well if you aren't sure which call certain topics were discussed. **What do you dislike about Owler?** Future enhancement request - I would love to be able to identify speakers on the call, and Owler recognize their voice and associate it with their name on future calls. **What problems is Owler solving and how is that benefiting you?** Owler has replaced having my admin attend all calls to take notes which frees her up to tackle more important projects. ### 11. I use the free version and I just get one email daily for my 5 accounts and suggestions for new follows. How many employees, income, etc.) the random guesses by users still offsets the actual information making the platform not a reliable source for that kind of data. If a company can confirm the numbers I think that should be locked in for a timeframe and require updates periodically to keep it up to date. **What problems is Owler solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can locate copetition specific to a company and get a good overall outline of the company. I think the competitor information provided tends to be very accurate and helpful for larger sized companies as well. **What do you dislike about Owler?** The downsides to Owler for us have been that they have very limited information for small construction firms which is who we really need data on. Since PR and media heavily influences the data available for companies, its tough in an industry that doesn't have many companies who have a big media presence. **What problems is Owler solving and how is that benefiting you?** For larger businesses, Owler has been great for keeping up informed on what large prospective clients are up to and what our competitors are up to. Overall, for the free subscription that I had, it did the job pretty well overall. Depending on my requested schedule, it did a decent job of scrubbing the internet for stories that are relevant to the companies I want to know about. **What do you dislike about Owler?** As time went on, the number of logo's I could follow was reduced (I don't blame Owler for this, as they do have to make money too...) and one pretty much gets a very small list of stories for that followed company. It may be different for the paid subscription, so I can't say that my evaluation is the best assessment of the entire service given by Owler, but in the absence of anything else, it has given me some better articles.. even more than the Google News Tracker service. If you don't have anything else, this is a great place to make as your first stop. **What problems is Owler solving and how is that benefiting you?** Owler is finding articles for me in a diversified way that I may not see from my Apple News+ app or the curated Google News Tracker. If I could change one thing it would be to enable more information to be included with my profile.
