"Otter.ai Helps Me Stay Present in Long Meetings with Effortless Transcription"

What do you like best about Otter.ai?

When I am in long-form meetings, using Otter.ai to transcribe minutes means I can concentrate on being present with the meeting contents, rather than trying to participate and make notes at the same time - which in the past has proven difficult for me to feel as if I am participating to the level I would like. What do you dislike about Otter.ai?

When I first starting using the platform the default setting was that it would ask to auto-join each video call I participated in. I didn't know this at the time and as such I was receiving transcriptions of calls that did not need notes taking. In time I worked out how to turn that default setting off so the transcriptions only took place during meetings where I required that service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Otter.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?

Otter.ai is solving a few issues for me. Firstly, by transcribing meeting/call minutes for me, I can remain present and tuned into the meeting I am in. Secondly, it saves me time transcribing meeting minutes myself. And lastly, I really like the function that pulls together follow-up actions from the meetings, to ensure all connected know what they are personally responsible for moving forward.
