What do you like best about Oryx Dental Software?

It has very low latency when things are clicked, e.g. when clicking on an appointment in the schedule, the selection is registered immediately rather than after a delay (looking at you, denticon). Same goes for viewing radiographs, it's very responsive, they populate quickly, and can be viewed quickly. The multiple integrations are also really helpful, e.g. e-prescription, taking radiographs, the VOIP with Mango, billing, etc. The aesthetics is a big plus, and the relative ease of use too. What do you dislike about Oryx Dental Software?

There isn't much to dislike. There are some bugs regarding looking at radiographs in an FMS, sometimes I have to refresh the page to facilitate, or when taking intraoral photos, but I'm sure those can be worked on. Also when I'm writing a prescription using MD Toolbox, the MD Toolbox dialog window prevents me from using the window behind it unless I close it entirely, which is kind of annoying. I can open oryx in two separate windows as a workaround though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Oryx Dental Software solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's cloud-based. I don't have to deal with a server. Obviously there are concerns with that too but I prefer the cloud.

Multiple integrations is a big deal, e.g. prescription, radiography, VOIP, etc etc. It's convenient, it's relatively pretty, which wins over a lot of clients I'm sure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
