"Flexible, Self-Service Dashboards with Smooth Oracle Ecosystem Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Oracle Analytics Cloud?

What I like most about Oracle Analytics Cloud is how easily it turns raw data into practical dashboards and reports. I mainly use it to analyze business data, track KPIs, and create visual reports for different teams.

The dashboards feel flexible, and the drag-and-drop interface makes it straightforward to explore data without having to write much code. I also appreciate the range of visualization options, since I can quickly adjust how the data is displayed depending on what I’m trying to understand.

Another strong point is its integration with the Oracle ecosystem. If you’re already working with Oracle databases or other Oracle applications, having the analytics platform in the same environment makes the overall workflow smoother.

I also find the self-service capabilities helpful for day-to-day work. I can explore data, build reports, and answer ad-hoc questions without always needing to rely on the technical team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle Analytics Cloud?

The main area I would improve is the learning curve. The platform isn’t hard once you get used to it, but when you’re just starting out, some features and configuration options aren’t very obvious.

The interface can also feel a bit overwhelming, especially when you’re working with more advanced analytics or data modeling. At times, I have to go through several steps to accomplish something that feels like it should be more straightforward.

Performance can vary quite a lot depending on how the data is structured and modeled, particularly with large datasets. For basic dashboards this is usually fine, but more complex analysis may require additional optimization.

I’d also like to see clearer learning resources and more practical examples for some of the advanced features. There’s plenty of documentation, but tracking down the exact example you need can still take time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
