What do you like best about OpenBOM?

openBOM's ability to generate bills of material is/will be helping us immensely. The catalog provides a single living space for all parts and assemblies and links individual categorical information, promoting an organized and searchable database. The automatic drawing-to-PDF feature is convenient and saves us a ton of time. And the ability to track revisions across drawings truly makes openBOM iron man of the avengers. What do you dislike about OpenBOM?

While I'm aware of the benefits constructive criticism can have, I haven't found anything in openBOM thus far that's been frustrating or lacking. The training videos mixed with youtube demonstrations have gotten me through any hiccups I've encountered, and Steve Hess has been super helpful with onboarding. What problems is OpenBOM solving and how is that benefiting you?

We lack software that generates a bill of material. It's usually manually input by someone in engineering. In addition, we have the same components used in different assemblies and have no way of tracking which assemblies use those components. If one of those components should be updated, we need to know what assemblies need to be updated as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
