"Simple to use and similar to other spreadsheets"

4/5

What do you like best about OpenBOM?

OpenBOM is similar to using other spreadsheet software. It is intuitive to use. This may seem like a small thing, but our previous software was very difficult to work with in terms of massive amounts of data at once. Setting up open BOM was a breeze compared to our previous system, which obviously is a huge plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenBOM?

Exporting can be confusing, and setting up views with team was not easy at first. Also the requirement to have to have outside integration, although this is obviously unavoidable so it's not really a major issue. As far as functionality and what should be actually expected, it holds up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering OpenBOM:

Good to use if your current ERP is lacking the functionality. Not sure of a better choice. I am not aware of many other options, but open bom seems to keep it simple and easy to use while being very functional. So far, it works for us. I have also not heard any internal complaints from any other members on my team, so far I believe it has been good for them as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is OpenBOM solving and how is that benefiting you?

Keeps our BOMs since we no longer have Oracle software. It is simple and easy to keep up with. We have a easy place to keep up with models and parts for use on both sales and manufacturing sides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
