  ### 1. Fantastic US-Based Support Team Makes All the Difference

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leah T. | Marketing/Sales/Customer Service, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about OnSIP?**

Their US-based customer support team is EXTREMELY responsive, knowledgable, understanding, and helps empower me to problem solve and find solutions on my own; they're also more than happy to help with quick fixes or issues where it is, in fact, user error or I'm missing something. Very patient, considerate, educated, and ready to solve the problem immediately.

**What do you dislike about OnSIP?**

The iphone app is buggy, desktop app often requires multiple shut downs and restarts day-to-day to get it to work.

**What problems is OnSIP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Phone answering, call tree, answering across multiple devices, transferring calls

  ### 2. ONSIP is great!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about OnSIP?**

Onsip has always been there for us. Their customer service is fantastic! Whenever we had a question or issue, it was resolved immediately. There is always a live person to speak with on the phone, and they answer your calls with no waiting time. Onsip has made having a VOIP phone service extremely easy to maintain, as well as providing a value for your dollar. Additionally, the phone reps are very friendly and courteous.

**What do you dislike about OnSIP?**

Honestly, I can't really say I dislike anything about Onsip.

**What problems is OnSIP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onsip makes it easy to create our phone recordings and attendants' menus and toggle between them whenever we like. We also like that we can receive email voicemails and have a conference bridge that works extremely efficiently. We find that the service is a very good value. And we also like that should we ever have a problem, the issue is resolved immediately, and we don't have any business interruptions.

**What do you dislike about OnSIP?**

No downsides! It might be nice to change the ringtone.

**What problems is OnSIP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am reaching customers in a hybrid work environment. One benefit is being able to transfer calls to other coworkers who are at home too.

  ### 4. Fantastic Product with Incredible Customer Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about OnSIP?**

OnSip is a great platform that can be customized in so many ways to serve a variety of purposes. I was hosting a fundraising event that needed a 1-800 number routed to make-shift call center. It was a very specific request and OnSip walked me through the entire setup live and provided day-of tech support. The support team member even did a very professional recording for when you called into the 1-800 number at no additional cost. The support allowed for 100s of phone calls to ping to a call center staffed by 10 volunteers on laptops for the fundraiser. There was not one issue the entire day. What I love about Onsip is the customization, it can do whatever you need it to do and the live and easy-to-access support can walk you through the setup that fits your needs. I had spoken with ATT and Comcast to set up the 1-800 lines and it was going to be so expensive, involved drilling and rolling out phone lines on the floor. I spoke with Zoom and the customer support was dismal, I was contacted by sales people trying to sell me large packages and there was no tech support for setting up event and delays between communication. I wish I had found Onsip earlier as it was such a simple solution with phenomenal customer service. I will definitely be using them again for specialty events.

**What do you dislike about OnSIP?**

Absolutely nothing. I have never had such a positive experience with a tech company. I think they could do a better job of advertising because, based on my experience, they are far superior to Google meets, Hangouts, Microsoft Teams, etc but it took me some digging and research to find them.

**Recommendations to others considering OnSIP:**

If you have the opportunity to ditch Zoom, Teams, Hangouts, etc - switch to Onsip, the customer serice alone is worth it!

**What problems is OnSIP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's an excellent platform for events or large meetings. It could also be a phenomenal tool for a company in need of a customer service hotline. We were able to take hundreds of calls, and it was so easy to use volunteers of all ages were able to answer calls on the platform without any isses.

  ### 5. Great service at an affordable price

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael D. | Marketing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2021

**What do you like best about OnSIP?**

What OnSIP does better than our previous VOIP phone service is pretty much everything. You can transfer phones between users effortlessly when they are away for vacation. Voicemail is way easier to manage. Their desktop app works well and makes inter-office calling a breeze. You can literally transfer calls by dragging and dropping it on the proper user. We set up our 1-800 number with a menu in the system and had it ready to go in less than 10 minutes.

**What do you dislike about OnSIP?**

I wish we had found it sooner. Maybe they could have more choices for hold music?

**Recommendations to others considering OnSIP:**

If you're considering OnSIP, I have only good things to say about them. On top of all the benefits, they have a very responsive support team!

**What problems is OnSIP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can quickly manage users, numbers, phones, and extensions.

  ### 6. Good service and support

**What do you like best about OnSIP?**

Great support staff, solid reliable service when using for deskphone. Easily navigable and customizable user interface.

**What do you dislike about OnSIP?**

Softphone and app aren't super reliable.

**Recommendations to others considering OnSIP:**

As long as you don't need the app or softphone functionality too much, great solution.

**What problems is OnSIP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use OnSIP for our main phone line. we stay connected as a team, and do all our customer service through their VoIP.

  ### 7. Poor quality

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gwen A. | C, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2021

**What do you like best about OnSIP?**

That I can use it on my cell phone, but only when connected to WiFi

**What do you dislike about OnSIP?**

That I have to be connected to WiFi for the mobile feature to work. Also, we have a lot of issues with sound cutting out. Doesn't feel very professional when talking with clients.

**Recommendations to others considering OnSIP:**

There's got to be something better out there.

**What problems is OnSIP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to work remotely, which is a plus because I travel a lot.

  ### 8. Decent for Small Business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephan A. | President EBF Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2021

**What do you like best about OnSIP?**

Great for small business since it is easier to manage than an actual PBX. Easy to use. Fair amount of functions. the customer service team is friendly and professional, knowledgeable, and resourceful.

**What do you dislike about OnSIP?**

Limited interaction with company. Need to reach out to keep communication open and learn about different services. Presented with a third party reseller only to open tickets. Do not use Cloud 9. Waste of money, you can do this yourself or interact with tech support from Onsip.

**What problems is OnSIP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is good for accessing voicemail, receiving calls on multiple devices, and queing up multiple calls. It is easily manageable platform.

  ### 9. Quality Service, Affordable Price

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe L. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2021

**What do you like best about OnSIP?**

OnSIP is a fantastic service. The pricing cannot be beaten for phone service. We are using the service in a small manufacturing facility. I've managed the IT department of a similar sized organization and we were paying 10 times as much using a traditional phone service.

The support team is very responsive. If you have an issue or a question, reach out to them. They respond right away.

The service supports a wide range of IP phones. We are using Cisco phones on the network and they work great. When we needed to add a cordless phone, we were able to add one by a different vendor and it works great.

**What do you dislike about OnSIP?**

Sometimes the setup of the phones can be a hassle. I've struggled to get some of the Cisco phones to adopt to the network. Not sure if it is a hardware problem or a problem with the service.

**What problems is OnSIP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are experiencing a huge cost savings using OnSIP. This is the biggest and best benefit we have recieved.

  ### 10. Pleased with customer service but some functionality could be simpler.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2022

**What do you like best about OnSIP?**

The dashboard and app. And ability to get calls on my personal cell.

**What do you dislike about OnSIP?**

Changing users is way too difficult. We experience consistent turnover by season and it seems like it should be easier to make changes to names, extensions, etc.

**What problems is OnSIP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No problems; benefits are ability to log in from home and use app on cell. Another plus is ability to get voicemails as emails.
