"Easy to access all apps, don't have to remember many passwords"

What do you like best about Okta?

I regularly accessed 30+ different software at my old company. If I had to remember the passwords for all those systems, I would have gone nuts! Once set up, Okta makes it super simple to access all those systems from one simple (and customizable) dashboard. I saved a ton of time not having to remember passwords or login URLs. What do you dislike about Okta?

Setting it up was annoying (and setting it up again when I got a new computer). But it's mostly the pain of having to follow multiple detailed steps -- Okta and our IT department laid out the steps needed pretty clearly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Okta:

Make sure your IT department creates a getting started guide that is super clear, detailed, and has screenshots. Some of our less tech-savvy folks struggled with the set up, how to QR codes, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?

I used Okta when I worked at a cloud company, so naturally all our systems we used were also in the cloud. I saved a TON of time not having to remember passwords or URLs, and if you add up all employee time saved that could be spent on other things -- it's pretty huge savings.

Plus, Okta makes sure login access is super secure and passwords aren't floating about in the ether. Our IT dept was pretty happy with it's security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
