"This quickly became my go-to task manager"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Office Otter?

Probably my favorite feature is that you can send a text message with a task and a hashtag with a time frame for when it's due and it automatically adds all of this to your Office Otter to-do list. That means that even when I don't have enough cell signal for data that would be required by an app or an online service, I can still get a text message through so I can add to my to-do list and get back to whatever I was doing at that moment. You can also email or Slack a task to Office Otter if that's your preferred method, in addition to typing it in on their website.

The whole system is quite streamlined and they seem to be doing a good job of getting better at what they mean to be: a task list. They are expanding options to streamline the process and make things more efficient and user-friendly without cluttering things up with features the users don't need yet one more app to do. I also have appreciated how they are listening to their users -- I've seen suggestions from me and others become full features in a relatively short amount of time. What do you dislike about Office Otter?

This is still a young service so things are changing periodically -- which means you need to keep up with the changes to be sure you're using the software to its full potential. But that's actually a good thing in the long run because the service keeps improving. It's just a matter of learning the system initially and then re-learning parts of it from time to time. Still, that investment of your effort is worth it to save you time on task management later. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Office Otter solving and how is that benefiting you?

Keeping track of routine tasks, chore reminders, client project deadlines and more can now be handled in a single application that is quick and easy to use. All of my to-dos can be listed, categorized, prioritized by date or a simple "Now," "Soon," "Later" hierarchy that works seamlessly to always keep my most urgent tasks front and center.
