"NVivo: Powerful, Intuitive Qualitative Analysis That Saves Serious Time"

4/5

What do you like best about NVivo?

NVivo is a powerful, flexible, versatile tool for the organisation and analysis of my qualitative data. It has shaved a substantial amount of time off my analytical process, freeing me up to consider the implications of my findings rather than spending my time processing it. The user interface is intuitive, the voice-to-text function performs well, and the pricing is fair. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NVivo?

While the voice-to-text conversion feature is strong, it sometimes struggles with my very English accent. Perhaps training the AI translation software on a wider sample of voice clips would help to improve this? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NVivo solving and how is that benefiting you?

I do a lot of evaluative work for my office at the University of Auckland, assessing the quality of our educational assistance programmes for high school students from lower-socioeconomic backgrounds. Much of my work involves interviews and focus groups to get a deeper, richer picture of the student experience and NVivo helps me to organise and process that qualitative data in an efficient manner (previously, I had to do everything manually, which was incredibly time-consuming).
