"Notion AI Writing Assistant is a game changer for Academics and Researchers like me"
What do you like best about Notion?

I like Notion because it is an All-in-one platform that allows me to combine multiple tools like note-taking, task-management, databases and more, into one unified workspace. It is highly customizable, and combined with the amazing templates other creative users are building, it can create a very unique setup which works best for my everyday needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

One thing I dislike about Notion is that their mobile app can be very slow and laggy. Most of the times, when I am outside, I have to rely on my smartphone to access my databases and any other quick notes that I have on Notion and the layout is just not the best. "Unmatched Flexibility and Smart Automation with Notion"
What do you like best about Notion?

The best aspect of Notion is its flexibility. You have blocks for every type of content you might need, which lets you create any workflow you can imagine. The block-based structure makes it simple to customize pages, databases, and more. Additionally, the integration of Notion AI makes everything even easier. Whenever you feel stuck, need ideas, or want tasks completed automatically, Notion AI can handle it for you. Why do hard work when you can work smart?

Pre-built Notion templates make it easy to get started, even at the very early stages, by providing ready-made structures you can adapt immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

The app starts to feel slow and somewhat laggy once the number of database rows goes beyond around 90. While offline access is available, it often doesn't function properly for me. As for the UI/UX, it can be confusing for new users; it took me nearly a week to figure out how to use Notion effectively. The mobile experience is quite limited and, in my opinion, is almost useless. Additionally, the platform requires constant manual organization, otherwise things can become disorganized very quickly. "Effortless Content Creation, Stellar Automation"
What do you like best about Notion?

I love using Notion as a comprehensive documentation hub and for project planning, where it helps me maintain an organized record of decisions. Notion's powerful automations and integrations between different files, tables, and databases significantly enhance my workflow efficiency, making complex task management straightforward. The platform's developer-friendly nature genuinely makes it more engaging for me to use. Notion AI is particularly beneficial, enabling me to write much faster by providing high-level context. Additionally, I find the database feature extremely helpful for organizing data structures and establishing integrations between different areas or topics. The initial setup was remarkably easy, and people get familiarized with the platform super fast, which made the transition seamless. Overall, I appreciate how intuitive and natural it feels to start producing content in Notion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

I find the page permissions breakdown a bit messy, which makes managing access controls more complicated than it should be. Additionally, the Verifiers option could be improved by allowing more dynamic assignment of reviewers, such as making it dependent on a database field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile and Intuitive, Yet Overwhelming for New Users"
What do you like best about Notion?

I use Notion for a variety of purposes, including taking meeting notes, creating SOTs for my team, knowledge sharing, creating onboarding guides, and personal research. I like how organized Notion helps me stay, allowing me to have all my needs in one spot. It is quite intuitive, which means I can navigate its features and perform different tasks easily, like adding data tables. I appreciate that Notion supports multiple contributors, enabling collaborative work while also providing the flexibility to keep documents private if needed. I enjoy the feature that allows me to favorite certain pages I visit frequently, ensuring quick access. Overall, the initial setup of Notion was fairly easy, and despite a learning curve, it is intuitive and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

I feel like there are so many things you can do in Notion that it is a bit overwhelming when trying to figure out how to do something or for new users. I also feel the mobile platform is a bit limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best app for organising notes"
What do you like best about Notion?

The UI is more smooth now and alot of new features are also introduced. Also with the addition of the Notion AI using notion has become much more simple and helpful. The AI can translate complete pages, analyze your notes, give insights on your data, help to create data and much more. I cannot suggest a much better notes keeping and sharing tool than notion. Recently I have planned a trip so I have noted everything down and using the AI also improved that alot and then shared the link to my friends so that they can also see the itinerary and they were impressed with the clean design and how easy it is to share there type of notes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

I am still not sure on that. Like the needs that I have it fulfills those there is noting extra I need from that. So I dont have anything that notion can improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Great All-in-One Workspace for Business and Personal Projects"
What do you like best about Notion?

Notion is everything. It’s data, it’s documents, it’s images, it’s writing. It’s flexible enough to be the central source of truth for my business, and my personal projects. I currently use it to manage my marketing content such as articles, blogs, and video scripts. It integrates with so many plugins and tools that the data can be leveraged on my website, with forms, and in my CRM and project management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

I used to enjoy writing in Notion, but the flexibility is a curse here—it can do so many things that it’s not the best place for focused writing anymore. And the somewhat intrusive AI features keep accidentally getting activated…it’s disruptive, in a bad way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional Project Management and User Experience"
What do you like best about Notion?

Very hard to narrow it down, but I would say The Project Manager. Mine is named Woody, after the most infamous project manager i know. Woody makes EXCELLENT suggestions. I mean so good, that I say, wow, I wish I had thought of that. He really improves the projects I am working on.

2nd would be that Notion is just so easy to use. The UX is exceptional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

I don't have a single complaint with Notion. Its ROI has been almost immeasurable for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile Hub for Projects and Personal Management"
What do you like best about Notion?

I love how Notion allows me to manage my notes, daily tasks, projects, and personal documentation all in one place. It serves as my hub for planning, writing, storing resources, and collaborating on short-term projects, making it an indispensable knowledge base. The high level of customization available for pages and database views, coupled with a clean, distraction-free interface, enhances my experience significantly. The use of templates is a huge time saver, especially for managing projects, planning content, and tracking habits. Linking pages and databases is intuitive and ensures information is easily accessible. Notion’s ability to replace multiple apps like documents, spreadsheets, task managers, and note-taking applications into a single workspace helps me stay organized and reduces the clutter, allowing me to maintain everything cohesively without the hassle of switching between different apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

I find Notion can be overwhelming at first due to its many features. The application can become slow, especially when handling heavy pages on large databases. I also see room for improvement in the offline mode as not everything syncs properly, which affects usability. Formatting on the mobile version is more challenging compared to the desktop version, and the reminders and basic functionality feel quite limited compared to dedicated tools for those tasks. "Excellent All-in-One productive space for Project & Design Work"
What do you like best about Notion?

What I absolutely love about Notion is how ridiculously flexible it is. It's not just a note app; it's the one central place where I can also organise and develop from initial client brainstorms to final portfolio showcases. It seriously cuts down on bouncing between different apps and makes managing my creative workflow seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

While the core product is outstanding, its offline capabilities continue to be a significant drawback. Whenever I experience weak Wi-Fi or am traveling, trying to access or update important information becomes extremely slow or sometimes not possible at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Feature-Rich, Minor Sign-In Hurdles"
What do you like best about Notion?

I really appreciate Notion's user interface and features. The platform's design is superior to any other app I've used, making my experience smooth and enjoyable. I particularly value the feature that allows me to make pages private or public, and the convenience of sharing them with others easily. The pinning feature is incredibly useful, especially when I want to quickly access important links on a website. Additionally, I love the ability to insert pictures directly into my notes and the functionality that lets me create and manage a timetable within a page. The initial setup of Notion was practically effortless, allowing me to start writing without any hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

I am frustrated by the frequent need to sign in every time I visit the Notion website. This login requirement disrupts my workflow and is inconvenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible and Customizable, But Setup Can Be Time-Consuming"
What do you like best about Notion?

I appreciate Notion's flexibility in customization, which allows me to build databases, notes, and other structures in a way that suits my workflow. This flexibility means I can consolidate various functions like notes and task management into a single workspace, eliminating the need for multiple apps. This all-in-one approach significantly simplifies and streamlines my daily activities. The integration capabilities with other tools like Slack and Google help in centralizing work, making it more efficient. Additionally, Notion's strong template offerings make it effortless to get started, providing a helpful boost in setting up new projects or tasks. The platform's ability to clean up the user interface by combining notes, documents, and tasks into one location anticipates and responds to many organizational needs in a straightforward manner. Having such a comprehensive tool as my first choice speaks volumes about its commitment to user satisfaction and adaptability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

The setup process for Notion can be time-consuming. To fully benefit from Notion, I need to invest significant time in preparing my work schedule. The setup feels lengthy and could be streamlined to be more efficient. Additionally, there are performance issues when using large databases or heavy content pages, which can slow down operations, especially during filtering, leading to a less smooth experience.
