"Notion’s Nested Pages, Relational Databases, and Smooth Slack/GitHub Sync"
4/5
What do you like best about Notion?

Notion’s standout feature is its page nested hierarchy combined with relational databases. Instead of static documents, we can convert any block into a database item with custom properties, status tags, and inline page embeds. The seamless Slack and GitHub integrations ensure updates sync smoothly across our existing toolstack without context switching. Additionally, the built-in AI features allow us to auto-generate task action items straight from brainstorm documents, streamlining our project handoffs instantly. The value completely justifies the price. By consolidating our project tracking, internal wiki, and documentation into Notion, we were able to cancel subscriptions to two other dedicated software tools. The per-seat cost is reasonable for the sheer amount of versatility it offers, making the overall return on investment extremely high. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

The primary downside is the steep initial learning curve for new team members. Because Notion is essentially a blank canvas, setting up effective permissions, databases, and page architecture requires a lot of initial planning. Onboarding non-technical team members takes time, as managing database formulas and proper relational setups isn't intuitive out of the box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
