The intuitive, Microsoft Office-style ribbon interface makes it easy for users to get started without a steep learning curve. The software feels lightweight, loads quickly, and can handle heavy documents with hundreds of pages without crashing. Its batch-processing capabilities are excellent, letting you convert, OCR, or watermark dozens of files at the same time. On top of that, the built-in Nitro Sign integration offers a seamless, secure way to manage digital signatures without needing a separate subscription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) engine is highly accurate, it can occasionally distort the original page formatting when converting complex, image-heavy PDFs into editable Word documents. The mobile app and the cloud-based web interface also feel a bit stripped down compared with the more robust feature set available in the desktop version. Lastly, although it’s significantly cheaper than Adobe, the upgrade pricing model for major version releases can still be frustrating at times, especially for long-term users.
