NinjaPipe packs a lot into one platform. Pipelines, email and SMS outreach, workflow automation, client portals, and invoicing are all in the box, so for a small business it's a real "run your sales from one login" option. Setup was straightforward, the iPhone app actually works, and it connects to Zapier, so basic automations were easy to stand up. As a lifetime deal the value on paper is strong, and the AI features are a nice touch for a tool at this price point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The API was the sticking point for me. It only exposes contacts, not deals or pipeline data, so I couldn't wire it into my own automation agents the way I needed to. If you plan to drive the CRM programmatically or connect it deeply to other systems, that ceiling shows up fast. I also found that adopting its invoicing and portal features would have meant pulling work away from tools I already rely on, rather than slotting in alongside them. Thanks for the detailed and honest review, Eric. Really appreciate you giving NinjaPipe a proper evaluation and calling out both the good and the limitations.
The API feedback is especially useful. We've actually been expanding the API and MCP capabilities, so some of the limitations you ran into are areas we're actively working on. We want NinjaPipe to be useful not just as a CRM you use manually, but as something you can build around and connect deeply into your own stack.
And totally fair on the invoicing and portal side, not every business needs to replace every tool they already use. Thanks again for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review. Feedback like this genuinely helps us make the product better.
