Nifty is where our entire agency lives. We're a boutique marketing and web agency with a distributed team of employees and contractors, and every client project, task, discussion, and handoff happens in one place. I wish more people knew about Nifty. I can't imagine running my agency with anything else.
A few things stand out:
- Flexible structure. We use project templates, task lists, tags, and checklists to standardize how every build runs. Design and Build checklists live right in our tasks, and a "Go Live" tag shows us the week's priority clients at a glance.
- Communication in context. Discussions and DMs sit next to the work, so launch notes and client context don't get lost in email.
- Easy contractor access. We can add freelancers and outside vendors to just the projects they need.
- The weekly digest. It gives me a quick read on what my team completed without opening anything.
- AI and MCP support. Connecting Claude to Nifty has been a real time saver. We're piloting using it to generate a full set of tasks from a client's scope of work, which cuts setup time on every new project.
- Responsive support. When we reported a bug where notifications kept disappearing, the team confirmed it, ticketed it, and shipped a fix within about a week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Mobile notifications have been inconsistent. Over the years, a few of our team members, including some on Android, have missed messages because notifications were glitchy. Support has been helpful, but it has come up more than once.
- Time tracking. We have relied on an outside tool for time tracking, billing, and profitability reporting because of how well it integrates. We're evaluating Nifty's native tracking now and hope to consolidate, but it's the one area where we haven't fully run on Nifty.
- Admin permissions can be confusing. Some admin-level settings, like members and permissions, weren't visible to an admin until we created a custom role. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
