I used to use Quickbooks for Invoicing. They continuously went up on their prices every year and I suddenly realized I had paid close to $1000 just in ACH transaction fees on my invoices last year - by switching to Nickel I save that much money every year. Nickel is also better for the clients that pay me as well - they are immediately given the option to pay via credit card and pay the extra fee on my behalf or pay for free via ACH. With Quickbooks, I would have had to ask them how they want to pay and if they wanted to pay via credit card, I'd have to go back and add it to the invoice and send it back to the client. Now with Nickel, there's none of that back and forth. It's just a lot simpler. Plus, it still flawlessly connects to my Quickbooks so none of my bookkeeping is messed up with Quickbooks.
