What do you like best about Nextcloud?

Nextcloud gives me complete control and flexibility over my data, while still offering the convenience of a modern cloud platform. I also appreciate how feature-rich and modular it is. Beyond simple file storage, it integrates calendars, contacts, task management, and even collaborative editing, which makes it feel like a true all-in-one workspace. What do you dislike about Nextcloud?

It can sometimes feel heavy and resource‑intensive, especially on smaller servers. The initial setup and configuration also require more technical knowledge than many mainstream cloud services, which can be challenging for non‑technical users. What problems is Nextcloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

Nextcloud is solving the problem of data fragmentation and lack of control. Before using it, I had to rely on multiple third‑party cloud services for storage, collaboration, and sharing, which often created confusion and raised privacy concerns.
