"Integrate Financials with Resource Management using this robust ERP"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

-NetSuite allows a lot of customization ranging from custom dashboards to reports. We have the option to include lists, search forms, recent records & trend graphs in our dashboards, as per our need.

-User permissions are supported for multiple levels. We have reports and dashboards with visibility specific to managers & above.

-Allows us to integrate client invoicing with the timesheets. This validation was much needed as it helps us in financial audits & reduces the need of using two separate applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

-Loading time is the worst. Our entire org is in NetSuite, and the timesheet approval workflow takes a lot of time to load & refresh.

We also observe this sluggishness while generating custom reports.

-Netsuite is a complex software and requires formal training sessions to get used to.

-There's no trial provided & the subscription plans are expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Workflow and Customization Excellence"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I like that with NetSuite, the entire process from estimate to delivery is seamless, which is quite different from other products that don't offer this. There is a lot of customization available from workflows, forms, and scripts, making it suitable for the various requests from different roles in our company. This customization is crucial for us, especially when printing sales orders with specific information like measurements, since each cabinet we sell comes in different sizes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

We have run into some things we have put in for improvement such as the ability to create invoices from sales orders, which is what our customers would like to see. Our customers only see invoices paid, but a sales order can be processed with several invoices, so they would like to know which invoices are created from which sales orders. "Comprehensive Cloud ERP That Streamlines Finance and Grows With You"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

NetSuite is a robust and scalable ERP platform that is used frequently for daily finance and accounting operations such as invoicing, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance. Its wide range of features, real-time data visibility, and strong system controls help improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making across the organization. Once users become familiar with the interface, the system is easy to navigate and becomes a core operational tool.

The platform integrates well with other applications and offers flexibility during implementation to match business requirements. Customer support resources, documentation, and partner assistance are generally helpful in resolving issues and supporting system usage. Being cloud-based, NetSuite allows easy access and consistent usage across teams, making it reliable for regular and long-term business needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

There are some areas where improvement is required. Due to the depth of features, new users may face a learning curve, which can affect ease of use during the initial phase. Implementation timelines may extend when advanced customizations or multiple integrations are involved, and simplifying setup and navigation would improve user adoption.

Customer support response times can sometimes vary based on issue priority and support plans, and faster resolution would enhance the overall experience. Additionally, system performance optimization and more intuitive configuration options would help ensure smoother daily usage and better utilization of features. "All-in-One Powerhouse, But UI Needs a Refresh"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

The best thing about NetSuite is definitely the "all-in-one" setup. Its seriously a game changer. Instead of having separate, janky software for accounting, inventory, CRM, and HR, it's all in one single database. This means the data is always correct and in real-time, so I can run a report on inventory and know the numbers are legit right now, not from last night's sync. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I gotta be honest, the thing I hate the most is that the UI feels super old and cluttered. Its like it was designed in 2010 and they just kinda slapped some new features on top. There are so many menus, sub-tabs, and fields crammed onto one page, it gives me a headache. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unmatched Customization and Reliability for Every Business Need"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

NetSuite is extremely customizable and very consistent. We almost never have downtime, and there's very little it can't do. We have loads of integrations into and out of NetSuite and it continues to perform no matter what we throw at it. We've left several peripheral platforms in favor of leveraging the customization available in NetSuite to handle our diverse practices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

The only downside is that it's not pretty - aka not intuitive to use. There's always a period of struggle when someone new starts, and they usually can't find their way to what they need by accident. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective for Finance, A Challenge for Construction"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I love NetSuite's ease of use, which simplifies complex tasks and helps me navigate the platform easily. Its ability to configure according to my specific needs allows me to tailor the system to our unique business requirements efficiently. I also appreciate the capability to drill down from financial statements into individual accounts and transactions, providing a deeper insight into our financial and manufacturing operations. These features collectively enhance our productivity and decision-making processes. Additionally, the additional functionality and efficiencies offered by NetSuite are significant improvements over our previous system, GP, which is reaching its end of life. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Accounting for construction requires some customization in addition to configuration. Customizations are required for PSR reporting and Percentage of Completion revenue recognition. That requires either a SuiteApp or customization. Basic setup was easy, but construction functions were a bigger challenge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Accounting with Customization Needs"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I really appreciate how visually intuitive and easy on the eyes NetSuite is, allowing me to navigate to the same destination through multiple pathways. I find the reporting functionality exceptional as it always provides the source of the data, which lends a sense of transparency and reliability to the information I work with. Moreover, I am particularly fond of how using NetSuite simplifies the principles of accounting, making them easier to understand. This aspect is incredibly beneficial, especially in terms of enhancing my grasp of accounting concepts through the software’s interface and capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I think the implementation process could use some work. Initially, it's very difficult to get it to where it needs to be. It should be tailored per industry first, then enhancements can be added after the initial implementation. Also, the initial setup was not easy due to internal factors and a bad choice of consulting company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Uptime, Helpful Dashboards, but Needs Better Support"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I appreciate NetSuite for its consistent uptime, which ensures that the system is reliably available whenever I need it, minimizing disruptions to my workflow. Additionally, I find the dashboards provided by NetSuite to be quite helpful, as they offer a clear and accessible overview of critical information, aiding in decision-making processes. Interestingly, I value the integration capabilities of NetSuite, particularly its compatibility with Brex, which allows for seamless interactions between different systems and enhances the overall efficiency of handling various financial tasks within our non-profit accounting operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I find the customer service lacking and feel it could be improved. The initial setup of NetSuite was problematic due to receiving friendly but uninformed consulting help from the NetSuite team, which led to many delays and setup headaches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive ERP with Smooth Updates, Support Response Improving"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

1. Unlike other tools, NetSuite only release tow big updates an year. I don't need to worry about upgrades for about 6 months.

2. If they are likely to remove or improve an item, they will provide an ample of time to recover the data and also provide multiple ways to overcome it.

3. An ERP with all the necessary modules in hands reach (OneWorld), upgrading along with the global updates like LLMs. Each modules are easy to use with just one click on "Enable Features" page.

4. Always provide the libraries for external tools like Mulesoft, Dell Boomi to easily integrate with other systems. We can create our own APIs too using RESTlets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Support system, I understand the support may take time for an issue, but it's to long even for a P1 issue.

NOTE: This has been improved recently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptionally User-Friendly Accounting System"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I like how easy it is to navigate netsuite. Of all of the Accounting systems I have used, this one is by far the most user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I do not like the bill approval process. There is something wrong with the process to where if the intial bill is entered wrong below the threshold then edited to be above the threshold it skips the approval process. I also think the reports you can actually use could be better management reporting is not a 100% option using solely NS because of limited reporting functionality Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple Yet Powerful Accounting Platform"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I find NetSuite to be a simple and easy-to-use accounting platform. I really like how creating journal entries, running reports, and building imports can be done with ease. The versatility of the platform is enhanced by its many connectors like Solution7. Being able to map thousands of rows and columns of data to NetSuite fields and building out reusable templates speeds up our close process significantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

The native reporting functions in NetSuite aren't great. It's clunky to build custom reports and the exports don't look great or executive. This requires the use of exporting TB data to Excel and building custom reports or using connectors like Solutions7 to automate the builds. The initial setup was a bit of a challenge.
