What do you like best about NetSuite?

The robust search function saves me time when I need to refer back to related transactions or review transaction history. I also like having the option to use much shorter internal IDs instead of long account/coding names. The import functionality is helpful, and I appreciate how easy it is to add multiple attachments with drag-and-drop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I dislike how complicated and non-intuitive it is to create a simple report when I need to drill down to information below the general journal entry level. I once spent hours trying to pull detail for all journal entries that hit a given GL account, but it only returned the lines that hit the GL account—not all the lines from the entire journal entry, which is what I was looking for. I’d like to be able to use AI within NetSuite to create a report with the content and formatting I want, instead of going through the lengthy, cumbersome process of selecting parameters one by one from an unbelievably long dropdown lists & trying to decipher without in-window helps what different versions of the same field name actually represent. What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?

NetAsset, combined with NetSuite, is helping us manage our fixed assets. It’s still a work in progress, but it’s been beneficial to link expense transactions to asset items and connect historical purchase information to each asset. I also appreciate being able to save notes and attachments with each fixed asset, which gives us a better handle on what we have and a stronger feeling of stewardship over our resources.
