What do you like best about NetSpot Pro?

It’s easy to use yet powerful—aliases, heatmaps, and colorful charts make it simple to scan lots of network metrics, see interference from neighbors, and perform real-time scanning.

I have six UniFi access points with multiple bands and networks at home, and getting the right settings for optimal coverage is critical. NetSpot Pro makes it easy to alias all my BSSIDs so I can walk around with my MacBook, sample coverage, and analyze interference. The heatmap feature is particularly useful for planning AP placement, adjusting power settings, and troubleshooting weak spots. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSpot Pro?

In version 3, the aliases I set in the “Inspector” list mode didn’t carry over to the visual chart, but I just upgraded to version 4, so that may have been updated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NetSpot Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?

NetSpot Pro helps me ensure my Wi-Fi is set up correctly and performing at its best. The heatmap feature has been invaluable for planning AP placement, adjusting power levels, and detecting problem areas. Without it, optimizing multiple APs and troubleshooting network issues would be much more difficult. Being able to visualize coverage and interference has saved me time and effort, making it easier to tweak settings and get the best possible performance from my network.
