Whenever I had questions or needed assistance someone always was there to help and the online training was also helpful. **What do you dislike about Netchex?** The Scheduler module has needed some upgrade for quite some time. The mobile app also could be more helpful. If I need to call an employee I can look up phone number quickly but have to close app to call. Very beginner friendly and great to use! **What do you dislike about Netchex?** As someone who is using Netchex for the first time as a payroll system, it has been great so far. The only issue I had ran into was a report that wasn't organized cleanly so I had to figure some things out on my end to really organize the data the way that would be most helpful. Reports can be more clean and organized, data wise. **What problems is Netchex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Netchex helps solve the onboarding process for new employees and makes it very easy and beginner friendly. The process is pretty straight forward and if you have questions, there are guides and a Netchex support team! ### 28. I personally find the Announcement feature a helpful "extra." **What do you dislike about Netchex?** Employees with tenure are continually confused about their PTO accrual and balances. Balance for tenured employees should be available either first day of fiscal year, or, the employee anniversary date, as accrual periods cause issues for tenured employees scheduling time off prior to "accrual." **What problems is Netchex solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are almost entirely paperless now! The electronic recordkeeping keeps HR functions more streamlined and efficient for people at multiple locations (across two states) to access file. Netchex also saves time regarding the time off request process. ### 29. Besides that, I would say NetBenefits is the most challenging area to traverse. **What problems is Netchex solving and how is that benefiting you?** There is a glitch in the timekeeping area; some of my employees can manipulate past entries on their timecards. Also, the new version of Time & Attendance is more difficult than the old version when it comes to maneuvering from one employee to another. We use some custom fields and would like to be able to change them on our own. I love the software and cloud capabilities as well as the ease of the app and access for both my managers AND my employees. **What do you dislike about Netchex?** Nothing really. They're constantly learning and modifying to listen to customer needs. I think they will continue to evolve with time, and they are welcoming to my feedback and always willing to jump on the phone to walk me through solutions when I have questions. **What problems is Netchex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Netchex helps me to have one place for all of my HR needs. I don't need to go to multiple places to handle payroll, 401K, recruiting, workers comp, benefits, etc. Everything is centrally located, which makes my work so much easier. ### 39. We have appreciated the ability to eliminate many paper processes of hiring and onboarding and allow potential and current employees to complete them online. The app is also great for employees to be able to do whatever they need to wherever they are. **What do you dislike about Netchex?** We wish that some of the reporting features were a little bit different. You can customize reports, but you can only save them for a specific user and not for your company as a whole. The feature is still nice, we just wish each user didn't have to create the reports themselves that we needed customized. **What problems is Netchex solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have solved some problems with various software not working well together and having to manually import data. Our hiring flows right to onboarding, which flows right to training, which flows right to payroll. No extra paper or missing documents because it is all taken care of online and through one platform. This has made us more efficient and allows us to stay on top of our tasks easier. ### 43. Employees and Managers can easily track hours, pay, and career development. Netchex offers plenty of learning modules, live and recorded to assist administrators. The Customer Support Offered post-deployment is excellent. **What do you dislike about Netchex?** The initial setup is extremely time-consuming and very demanding. If you work in a business that does not have the luxury of freeing up multiple days to work on the set-up, you will find this very challenging. We were lead to believe that our current systems would synchronize with Netchex, only to be tasked with rebuilding processes, something that the Teams for those other systems did for us. **Recommendations to others considering Netchex:** If you are able to schedule days to devote entirely to set up and deployment, do so. It is extremely cumbersome to manage the demands of their Team with a busy workday. **What problems is Netchex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Netchex simplifies payroll and as the updates roll out to make it compatible with existing systems, should greatly reduce administrative tasks for Managers, giving Employees more accountability. ### 48. I can view all manager tasks for my employees and then switch to my employee view very easily. We previously used another service that did NOT offer the same level of visibility as Netchex offers. We are incredibly pleased with it. **What do you dislike about Netchex?** We recently added NetLearn and NetScheduler to our account; these are a bit clunky for us and not as user-friendly as the basic Netchex experience. If these two pieces could be enhanced to be a bit more seamless with the basic service, that would be much more helpful for our organization. **What problems is Netchex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our employees were not previously able to manage and see their PTO or RTO, having Netchex has solved that problem. We've also noticed a benefit with employees being able to see more payroll data than was previously available. ### 49. Support is always there by phone or email with a person whom you can understand. **What do you dislike about Netchex?** Currently, we are waiting on some updates in the scheduler. Waiting on the ability for restaurant staff to see everyone on the schedule may force us to use an outside product while waiting on the new roll out. **What problems is Netchex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Hiring documents, weekly bank deposits, payroll reporting is all done, employees can get copies of their own payroll with no HR person. Employees are able to update their own information and make changes to tax documents.
