What I like most about NetApp ONTAP is that it is reliable and easy to manage. The performance is good, and day-to-day storage operations are quite straightforward once you get familiar with the system. Features like SnapMirror, snapshots, and deduplication are very useful for data protection and storage efficiency. It also integrates well with existing infrastructure and supports different workloads. Overall, it makes storage management easier and gives us the flexibility we need in real-world environments. One thing I find a bit challenging with NetApp ONTAP is that some advanced configurations and troubleshooting can take time, especially for people who are new to the platform. There are quite a few options and commands to understand, and some tasks could be simpler through the GUI. Also, understanding licensing and planning the overall solution can sometimes be a little complicated. Apart from these points, the software works well for day-to-day storage management.
