What do you like best about Navisworks?

As a BIM Manager, what I like best about Navisworks is its ability to bring all disciplines into one federated model and quickly identify coordination issues before construction starts. It helps teams review complex projects efficiently and resolve clashes early, reducing rework and project risk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Navisworks?

One thing I dislike about Navisworks is that handling large federated models can sometimes impact performance, and certain visualization or integration workflows may not behave consistently across connected platforms. For example, project discussions noted cases where surfaces were visible in Navisworks but not in Workshop XR, requiring additional investigation and coordination. What problems is Navisworks solving and how is that benefiting you?

Navisworks helps us combine Revit, Civil 3D, and other discipline models into one federated model for coordination. It allows us to detect clashes early, review design issues with the project team, and improve communication during model reviews.
