What do you like best about MySQL 8.0 with IIS and PHP 7.4 on Windows 2016?

The best thing is that it runs smoothly and is quite flexible as it has less complexities. The performance is good and well optimised for the queries. It helps perform task in relation to data base onto a local host. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MySQL 8.0 with IIS and PHP 7.4 on Windows 2016?

It is not suited for real time data processing. Since PHP is open source it may cause security or data governance issues. It is not easy to learn everything and could be challenging for some people. Debugging time is more when running more complex queries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MySQL 8.0 with IIS and PHP 7.4 on Windows 2016 solving and how is that benefiting you?

Different applications use different version of PHP version. Question is, will different version of PHP works with latest MySQL 8.0?

As the question suggested, PHP can use different versions and PHP has an extension called mysqlnd which stands for MySQL native driver. The driver is used by both mysqli and PDO_mysql.

When we upgrade to MySQL 8.0 we should be able to use PHP versions without any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
