## MyQ Reviews
  ### 1. Very useful print redundancy: continuity without reconfiguring queues

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fredpa M. | Ingeniero de soporte, Outsourcing/Offshoring, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about MyQ?**

Redundancy at the printing service level is very useful: if a multifunctional device fails, the user can use any other device embedded with MyQ, without needing to add another printer or create a new print queue.

**What do you dislike about MyQ?**

One aspect that could be improved is allowing the modification of notification settings. For example, the toner level notification only activates when it reaches 20%; if I wanted to receive it at a different toner percentage, MyQ does not allow me to do so.

**What problems is MyQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MyQ solves print control in an environment where it is necessary to know and control what users print. It also allows me to centralize users in a database, which facilitates the management of users and passwords. Additionally, workflows can be automated, for example, document digitization can be directed to the destination we need.

**Official Response from Andre Munhoz Pinto:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with MyQ. It's great to hear that features like print redundancy, centralized user management, and workflow automation are delivering real value in your environment. We also appreciate your suggestion regarding configurable toner notification thresholds. Feedback like this helps us continue improving the product. Thanks again for your support and for being part of the MyQ community!

  ### 2. MyQ: complete print control and practical management after the initial curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristian Andres G. | Ingeniero de Soporte Nacional, Business Supplies and Equipment, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about MyQ?**

MyQ has different printing methods, covering the full range of possibilities and providing an adequate system for print control and management. It is a software that, although it may be a bit complex to manage at first, after gaining some experience, becomes a very practical and easy-to-manage tool.

**What do you dislike about MyQ?**

I would think that what I like least about MyQ is the complexity of port management it requires. There are often difficulties in implementing solutions, as many times antivirus and/or firewalls block ports necessary for the proper functioning of MyQ, mainly for the installation/activation of embedded systems.

**What problems is MyQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main drawback it addresses is that of massive deployments, as it has tools that facilitate the implementation of solutions.

  ### 3. Greater security and control of prints with MyQ

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivan dario N. | ingeniero de soporte, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about MyQ?**

The main advantages of using MyQ are increased security, Follow-Me Printing, better control of prints, cost reduction, centralized management, scan automation, management of multiple locations, and high document availability.

**What do you dislike about MyQ?**

installation and configuration can become complex since it's not just about installing the program and starting to print. Usually, several steps need to be configured, which can become complex in a complex infrastructure.

**What problems is MyQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MyQ primarily solves problems related to lack of control, security, and management of printing. The benefit is that there is no paper waste in the printing machines.

  ### 4. Reliable Print Management Backbone for Enterprises

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nabil S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2026

**What do you like best about MyQ?**

I really appreciate how stable MyQ is. Once it's deployed and tuned, it just runs smoothly, handling heavy loads gracefully without causing us to get frantic calls at midnight. The admin console is another aspect I like a lot; it keeps everything—from queues to users and policies—in one place, making it easy to manage and generate genuinely useful reports for finance teams. The card-tap release feature for end-users feels seamless and reduces friction, while the mobile release option is a nice fallback in case someone forgets their card. Pull printing from any device on the network is another feature that removes daily annoyances. I also like that MyQ supports mixed fleets, handling different MFP brands without any issues. The rules engine is flexible enough to set policies without scripting, which significantly reduces paper and toner usage. User provisioning through Active Directory works flawlessly, and the job roaming experience is incredibly smooth. I also appreciate the strong alerts and proactive monitoring, keeping us informed about toner levels and device status before clients notice. Finally, the mobile and BYOD printing options are robust, allowing users to print from personal devices securely.

**What do you dislike about MyQ?**

Nothing major, but a few honest gripes: The admin dashboard interface feels dated compared to the modern SaaS tools we use day to day. Functionally it does everything you need, but the look and feel is showing its age - some of the navigation could be cleaner, and a lot of common tasks take more clicks than they should. A UI refresh would go a long way. Initial setup and configuration for large multi-branch deployments is also genuinely time-consuming and requires real technical expertise. If you're rolling it out across dozens of locations with different network setups, AD structures, and device mixes, it's not something a generalist can knock out in an afternoon. Once it's in place it's stable, but the on-ramp is steep, and better setup wizards or templated deployment profiles would help a lot. Reporting customization is the third one. The built-in reports cover the common cases well, but every now and then a client asks for a very specific format - say a particular cost center breakdown or a custom field grouping for compliance - and we end up exporting to Excel and reshaping it manually, or building workarounds. More flexibility in the report builder, including custom templates and scheduling, would save us a lot of back-and-forth.

**What problems is MyQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MyQ solves unauthorized printing and confidentiality leaks with secure print release, addresses waste from uncollected print jobs, provides cost visibility by department, centralizes fleet monitoring, and offers pull printing for convenience across branches.

**Official Response from MyQ Solution:**

> We're thrilled to hear that MyQ has been a reliable and stable print management solution for your enterprise. It's great to know that the admin console, card-tap release feature, and support for mixed fleets have been valuable to your operations. We appreciate your feedback on the admin dashboard interface, setup process, and reporting customization, and we will certainly take these points into consideration for future improvements. Thank you for sharing your experience with MyQ!

  ### 7. Versatile Printing Solution with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bogdan G. | Office Solutions Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about MyQ?**

The support site is very friendly, making it easy to get help when needed. I appreciate the effective device monitoring, as it enables using one app for everything. Customization is also a strong point, especially for big customers, offering flexibility to meet specific needs. The licensing model is straightforward and simplifies making offers to customers. Additionally, I found the installation to be straightforward.
