"Switched from WPML and Saw Faster Multilingual Growth"

What do you like best about MultiLipi?

I use WordPress and was looking for a replacement for WPML. After disabling WPML, I installed the MultiLipi plugin, synced my site, and had the English version live within 30 minutes. The implementation was incredibly fast and straightforward. When I checked Google Analytics the next day, I noticed an increase in visitors and citations from LLMs, after years of low but stable traffic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MultiLipi?

It’s a new product, so some areas still need improvement. The support team is quick and very helpful, but the knowledge base currently lacks more detailed information. A lot of guidance does not seem to be documented yet.

For example, I use Elementor on my website and wanted to add a language switcher to the Elementor menu, but I could not find any information in the knowledge base explaining how to do this. If the information is available, the search functionality may need improvement.

I also use page-specific social media images in the same language as each page. I could not find a way to serve different images for different languages, even in the admin dashboard. This is a must-have feature that should either be added or documented more clearly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MultiLipi solving and how is that benefiting you?

MultiLipi solves several problems I had with WPML. WPML is a large plugin and was slowing down my WordPress site significantly. Although automatic translations were possible, the plugin felt complex because I had to translate different items in different places.

With the rise of LLMs and people searching through tools like Google Gemini, I also needed GEO and chatbot search optimization. This is something WPML did not offer.

MultiLipi helps by diverting much of the translation traffic away from my WordPress site and serving it through its own servers. It translates pages on the fly, so I no longer have to translate everything page by page, which saves a lot of time. If I want to expand into a language I don't know, I can enable it in the dashboard and make it available immediately, without needing translators.

Overall, MultiLipi has made my site faster, reduced manual translation work, and helped me become more visible in search and LLM-driven discovery. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
