I like Monster’s resume database and straightforward search filters. I can find candidates across technical areas like Java, .Net, Data Engineering, and Cloud, and narrow profiles by skills, experience, location, and keywords instead of manually going through hundreds of resumes. I can save profiles to revisit for future requirements and contact candidates directly instead of waiting for them to apply. That makes sourcing easier and faster, especially for urgent or niche IT positions, and helps me build a pipeline across different requirements. I also find the setup and search features fairly straightforward, with a minimal learning curve. Sometimes I come across outdated profiles or candidates who are no longer actively looking. Search results can include profiles that don’t fully match the required skills, even with specific keywords and filters. I’d also like to see better candidate response rates.
