"Integrated, Data-Driven System That Eliminates Double Data Entry"

What do you like best about MonkeyPod?

MonkeyPod gave our small nonprofit one system that actually talks to itself. Donor records, accounting, email, and fundraising all live in the same place, so a gift logged on Tuesday is already reflected in our books, our donor history, and our reporting without anyone touching it twice.

That alone eliminates the double and triple data entry that could eat-up hours of every week. It gives us back is time for mission-related work: program development, family support, research. The administrative tail stopped wagging the dog.

The reporting is the other piece. Because everything flows from a single source, the numbers we pull are current and trustworthy, which means board meetings, grant reports, and planning decisions rest on real data instead of a hurried reconciliation.

What do you dislike about MonkeyPod?

Not much of anything, TBH. The only thing I can think of is that it does so much it takes some time to learn how to use it well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MonkeyPod solving and how is that benefiting you?

We've been using MonkeyPod since day one at our organization's founding because I used other systems at my last job as executive director, and those systems didn’t talk to each other. It was infuriating that donor information lived in one place, accounting in another, email and fundraising somewhere else. That meant every gift, every contact, every transaction got entered more than once. That created hours of redundant work each week and, worse, constant doubt about which record was the accurate one.

I switched that organization to MonkeyPod less than a year into my work there, and it put all of it in one integrated system and solved problems for us by giving us trustworthy and current data, so when I'd prepare a board report, a grant application, or a budget projection, I'd have real numbers that I didn't have to wait on someone else to compile for me. And, again, we got our time back.

When I left that job and started a new nonprofit I started the organization out with MonkeyPod. MonkeyPod makes it so our time and energy go to our mission focused work, the work we exist to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
