## Mixpanel Reviews
  ### 1. Clean, Intuitive Dashboard for Fast Data-Driven Decisions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dexter M. | Creator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

The dashboard is a clean process, making it easy to pull data and make decisions quickly.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

There was a weird start up barrier with so many tech roles and ads I was lost at first but then quickly understood the software.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mi panel is solving my digital analytics dashboard problems and highlighted new problems that I didn't think about that the software shareware accounted for. I we continue to use the iridium as I scale.

  ### 2. Straightforward Setup, Efficient User Tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

I like that Mixpanel's UI is straightforward, making it easy to use. The integration and setup process was also quite easy, aided by good and easy-to-follow documentation. Once it's set up, it works reliably, and the tracking of user actions is solid without many issues related to data loss or missed sessions.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

We're using other tools for feature flagging and doing experiments on users. We didn't really like how Mixpanel handled it and found tools that were better for this use case. We haven't really explored much outside of basic user and session tracking. We're not exactly sure how every feature integrates with each other since the offering is very wide. It's also a bit on our side to take the time to explore and see what could be used by our team.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mixpanel lets me track user actions across apps, see users in action, pinpoint feature issues, and identify unsupported use cases.

  ### 3. Event Updates Feel Slow—Needs Real-Time Analytics in the Dashboard

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramji D. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

Actually, Mixpanel is mainly for analytics and for naming events. When I used it, there was no support for session replays or feature management flags, and it also didn’t have push notifications or in-app messages.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

There’s a delay when new events appear in the Mixpanel dashboard, which makes me wait before I can test my new events and their properties. I think they should provide socket implementations so events can update live.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me understand user behaviour more accurately by tracking the events users have performed. This, in turn, helps me make better business decisions.

  ### 4. Great Analytics Tool with a bit of a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

I like Mixpanel's detailed event tagging, which makes it easy for me to understand the different journeys of different types of users and visitors. I enjoy the easy cohort and journey analysis features, as they help me connect the analysis to the product users. I appreciate the custom reports and dashboards, allowing me to create scheduled reports for relevant metrics. Mixpanel makes understanding what's working on the website simple, and I can see quickly what's working and what should be adjusted.
We also used Zapier for pushing data into Mixpanel.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

Longer onboarding for new users that aren’t familiar with Mixpanel. There's a shift in mindset required because manual tagging is essential to get the most out of it.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Mixpanel for attribution analytics, user journey analysis, and cohort creation. It helps me understand what's working on the website and adjust accordingly. Detailed event tagging and custom reports make it easy to track relevant metrics and analyze user journeys.
We can easily track campaigns that are working to increase ROI by understanding content and copy that worked vs the ones that didn't move the needle.
Also automating the reach out to customers based on actions proved to be a good use case for us.

  ### 5. Frustrating User Experience, Annoying Quirks and Limitations

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

I appreciate some of Mixpanel's built-in reporting capabilities. I'm able to set up new reports and dashboards pretty quickly and there are some nice out-of-the-box visual display options. I appreciate the alerting on key events and integrations with Slack and Hubspot.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

There are endless things about Mixpanel that drive me crazy. It's not intuitive, so every colleague we've onboarded has grappled to get used to the platform. There are all kinds of usability issues throughout the product, as well as weird quirks that often require manual investigation and wasted time. I recently spent an hour on a Mixpanel troubleshooting call with our VP of Engineering, so my frustration is pretty acute. I mentioned that reports and dashboards ('boards') are decently easy to build. That's true up to a point, but there are a lot of reporting limitations - plus, there's no true way to export a board view, just a single report at a time. Printing a board to PDF includes the entire UI, so that's not usable. You can email the board, but it truncates at 5 report tiles (even if each one contain a single number), displays all tiles at the same default size, and excludes any explanatory text fields you may have added. You can share access to the report, but that doesn't solve the same problems as sharing or saving a point-in-time output. Here's another small usability issue that feels all too representative: when you try to export a view of events, Mixpanel only exports the set of events that are visible within in the UI. If you have 800 events to export, you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page, click "load more," wait until the next 100 events have loaded, scroll down again, and repeat that process 6 more times until all 800 events have loaded before you can export them. There's no warning about this, so it's very easy to accidentally end up with an incomplete output. And bear in mind that the reason I've even had to export a csv of events like this at all is to work around whatever limitation kept me from answering my questions within Mixpanel itself. I'd love to be able to use Mixpanel with Claude so I can avoid dealing with the UI or exporting data to cobble together my own answers. Unfortunately, the MCP server only pulls data at the individual user level, not company workspaces. More importantly, I've learned to watch out for reporting quirks every time I need to answer a new question, so I would probably always still need to start by investigating every limitation and possibility in Mixpanel before trusting that I could answer even basic questions reliably.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a product team member, my goal is to use Mixpanel to report on feature activation and adoption. When we release something new, what percentage of companies in our user base tries it within 30 or 60 days? Are customers engaging with core functionality within our product? What can their usage tell us about what we might need to improve in terms of product features, product experience, and/or product education? Which customers should we engage for product feedback on specific features? Mixpanel helps with these questions in some cases, and leaves gaps in others.

  ### 6. Powerful Insights, but training is recommended

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

I like Mixpanel's event-based tracking model because it allows building very specific funnels, tracking feature options, and segmenting behavior by user properties and cohorts. Once the data is clean and events are well structured, the query flexibility is excellent. Insights, funnels, and flows cover most of what a SaaS team needs without requiring a data warehouse or a dedicated analyst for every report. The ability to save and share reports across teams keeps everyone aligned on how customers engage with the product.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

The learning curve is real. Getting accurate, trustworthy data out of Mixpanel requires thoughtful instrumentation upfront. If your event taxonomy isn't consistent, reports become unreliable fast. Lexicon helps manage property definitions, but it's an ongoing maintenance effort. New users without an analytics background will likely struggle to get value quickly without dedicated onboarding or internal documentation to guide them.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Mixpanel to monitor user engagement, product adoption, and workflow behavior across our platform. It provides us with visibility into what customers actually do after they log in, including which features they use, where they drop off, and how behavior varies across segments. This replaces much of guesswork and directly influences how we prioritize customer success, outreach, support, and product decisions.

  ### 7. Easy Setup with Comprehensive Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sharif K. | Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

I like Mixpanel's interface and support documents because they help me use it quickly. The support documents are great as they cover how to get started quickly, explaining the services and how to properly use the website. Just reading them helps me learn what to look for and how to use it. The initial setup was only for me, but because of the support documents, I was able to teach my teammates how to properly use it and how to use the data that we get through it.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

Pricing could be a little affordable

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Mixpanel to understand inbound traffic, behavior, lead success/fail rates, and conduct analysis and analytics.

  ### 8. Intuitive Analytics with Excellent Agent Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Will H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

I think the UI in Mixpanel is great. The new agentic approach is brilliant, and it enables me to ask the agent for guidance instead of figuring out the product head to toe. This really helps when I'm building my own apps as the agent can guide me through setting things up and offer suggestions on what events to capture, which I find awesome. Also, with the agents, the setup was very easy and straightforward, which was excellent since I don't have much time being the CEO.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

N/A

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Mixpanel for tracking user retention and activity, helping us make informed decisions about UI updates and content responsiveness.

  ### 9. Mixpanel Report for Marketing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Cosmetics | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

It actually makes my work easier, especially when I am working with Data. Live numbers are very important in my daily tasks. When using Mixpanel, it is very easy for me to oversee everything just by using the correct filters.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

Nothing! It's the best! Everything's organized.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Mixpanel to track the redemption of the promos we’ve been working on has been really helpful. It benefits me because I no longer need to manually check each promotion and calculate the numbers individually. Everything is already visible in Mixpanel, which saves time, reduces manual work, and makes the reporting process much more efficient and accurate.

  ### 10. Effortless Analytics with Room for Email Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

I use Mixpanel for tracking product analytics for my SaaS and iOS app. It makes it easy to see at a glance what customer engagement and key funnels look like. I really like the speed and ease of use, and the email reports are great because I don't want to spend a lot of time keeping tabs on performance, so these make it easy for me to do without a big time investment. The initial setup was also very easy, using Claude.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

The rendering of the emails is weird sometimes and they could be better formatted for email. Some of the denser charts don’t show well and they are sometimes slow to load.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mixpanel makes it easy to see customer engagement and key funnels at a glance. Its speed and ease of use reduce my time investment for tracking performance.

  ### 11. The best solution for product analytics.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

The heatmap feature and querying data using AI have improved our usability.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

For some events, the values which are less frequent don't show up while doing a breakdown or creating funnels. If the sync for these gets improved it will help when building around new reports.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Mixpanel we have a better understanding of the flows our user is taking. This helps us in improving our funneling. It also helps us to understand the improvements of feature changes that we make in real-time.

  ### 12. Essential Debugging Tool That Takes the Guesswork Out of Issue Tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manu Y. | Full stack developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

It is a lifesaver for debugging. When a user reports an issue, I can look up their profile and see their exact "User Flow"—literally the step-by-step actions they took right before things went wrong. It takes the guesswork out of reproducing bugs. It's also great for verifying that people are actually clicking the new buttons I shipped. The integration part is really easy : just add a helper class that calls the Mixpanel SDK, and that's it, The service is now implemented to use by just calling a helper function from all over my application . Mixpanel also handles event syncing flawlessly in case if the device is offline. I use this product daily/frequently to debug my applications.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

You have to be really strict with how you name events in your code. If you aren't careful, the data gets messy and hard to read. Also, finding a specific user to debug can be annoying if you don't have their unique ID handy; the search function could be a bit smarter. Their Customer support is not that good, very lengthy process of communication.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mixpanel mainly solves the headache of reproducing bugs. Instead of guessing, I can verify the exact "User Flow" to see the steps a user took immediately before an issue occurred. It’s also handy for confirming that users are actually engaging with the new buttons I’ve shipped. The biggest benefit for me is the simplicity; integration was just a matter of creating a helper class for the SDK, allowing me to trigger events easily from anywhere in the code. It even handles offline syncing automatically, so I never worry about data loss.

  ### 13. Powerful Analytics with Some Wishful Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Milan M. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

I really appreciate Mixpanel because it gives me a great overview of everything my users are doing. Once I've set up the events on the app and web, I know exactly what is happening between funnels, what is happening to a selected cohort, and what is happening to users who are falling off. It also helps me understand how long it will take to deactivate them and how we can reactivate them.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

I think some functionality like more engagement features or something like CleverTap would be great if Mixpanel can add that as well, like building codes and sending marketing messages.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mixpanel helps me understand user drop-offs within the funnel, whether it's at sign up, KYC, or post-transaction, and provides insights about user engagement with different features.

  ### 14. Mixpanel Makes User Behavior Visible and Actionable

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

I like Mixpanel because it makes product behavior very visible and actionable, especially for SaaS, mobile, and consumer apps. “I can see what users are doing step by step.”

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

1. steep setup/implementation learning curve,
2. event taxonomy getting messy over time
3. pricing scaling aggressively with usage,
4. governance/data quality issues if teams instrument inconsistently.
5. analytics/privacy vendors after Mixpanel-related security incidents in 2025

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mixpanel answers a core question:
“What are users actually doing in our product, and how do we improve it?”
1. Understanding user behavior
2. Finding where users drop off
3. Improving retention

  ### 15. Great analytics tool for product teams, but pricing can be a hurdle

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

Mixpanel’s event-based tracking is very flexible and the queries are easy to build without any SQL knowledge. The funnel and flow reports give clear visibility into user behavior, and the ability to slice data by user properties is quite powerful. The UI is clean and relatively easy to navigate compared to some alternatives.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

The pricing model is based on event volume which can get expensive quickly as your product grows. Also, setting up the initial instrumentation requires careful planning, if your event structure isn’t clean from day one, reports become unreliable. Customer support on lower tier plans is also not very responsive.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mixpanel helps eliminate the dependency on data teams for product insights. It makes it easy to track feature adoption, understand where users drop off in critical flows, and measure retention over time. This speeds up product decision making significantly.

  ### 16. Easy to Use with a Clean, Well-Organized UI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olivia M. | Senior Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

Ease of use, UI, organization, accessible to people that are not technical or data centric

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

Some loading times can be long when you try to create a new graph and load the events you're looking for

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me track usage of the features I’ve worked on as a PM, and it also lets me assess how a feature I’m considering improving over the next few months is being used. On top of that, having the data in front of me is really helpful when I’m debating a decision with other product people.

  ### 17. Deep Insights with Mixpanel but Some Speed Bumps

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joy Li Ming Y. | Ops, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

I find Mixpanel really helpful for understanding the end-to-end view of how our users interact and shop with our platform. It provides insights in an easy and democratized way for diagnosing problems with data. Mixpanel completes the picture where our BI tools fall short, notably helping us understand our users much better, including their path to churn. I appreciate Mixpanel's continuous upgrades to their product suite and their commitment to gathering real user research to ensure their B2B product meets industry standards. I love how Mixpanel includes experimentation on the platform, which allows us to better analyze different cohorts of experiment users without needing to cross-reference multiple platforms.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

I think the load time sometimes is really long, which I understand because there's lots of data on it. The data governance can also be a little bit messy, tedious, and confusing.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Mixpanel for product analytics and user behavior research. It helps us understand user interactions, diagnose problems with data, and complete the picture where our BI tools fall short. We also appreciate the built-in experimentation to analyze user cohorts without cross-referencing multiple platforms.

  ### 18. All Key Visual Graphs in One Place—Easy, Insightful Dashboards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

All the visual graphs are available on a single page, which makes it easy to review everything at a glance. I’m also able to create a dedicated product page for each of my customers. I also appreciate the descriptions next to each visual graph explaining the data.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

It took me a little while to learn how to set up my dashboards and really get started using it.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me valuable insight into how my customers are using our products. It also provides information I can use during QBRs, which makes those conversations more focused and useful.

  ### 19. Intuitive Mixpanel Insights with Powerful Funnels and Retention

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

What I like most about Mixpanel is how intuitive and user-friendly the interface feels, especially when I’m analyzing user behavior without needing a lot of technical effort. The real-time event tracking, along with flexible segmentation, makes it straightforward to pull out actionable insights quickly. I also find the funnels and retention analysis especially powerful for getting a clearer picture of how people are actually using the product.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

Mixpanel can become quite expensive as event volume scales, which makes it difficult to use extensively. The initial setup and event-tracking design also require careful planning; otherwise, the data can quickly become messy and harder to trust. In addition, some advanced queries and custom reports feel less flexible than what I’m used to with raw SQL-based tools.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mixpanel helps us understand user behavior at a granular level by tracking events and mapping user journeys. It makes it easier to spot where users drop off, refine funnels, and make truly data-driven product decisions. As a result, we’ve been able to optimize features, boost user engagement, and prioritize the work that has the biggest impact on growth.

  ### 20. Powerful Funnel & Retention Insights, but a Confusing Setup and Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

We've been using Mixpanel to track user activity and understand how people move through the product. The funnel and retention reports are especially helpful, and once everything is set up properly, it's easy to answer a lot of product and growth questions without constantly asking engineers for data.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

Getting started can be a little confusing. There are a lot of features and reports, so it takes some time to understand how everything works. Some reports can also become messy if event tracking isn't planned carefully from the beginning.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us see where users drop off, which features get used, and how product changes affect user behavior. Having that visibility makes it easier to prioritize improvements and have more data-driven discussions across the team.

  ### 21. Powerful, Fast Event Analytics with Intuitive Dashboards

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

What I like most about Mixpanel is its powerful event-based analytics and intuitive dashboards, which make it easy to understand how users interact with our product. The platform lets us track detailed events—such as feature usage, clicks, and user flows—so we can quickly see what’s working well and where users may be dropping off.

From a UI/UX standpoint, the interface feels clean, consistent, and well organized. The funnel analysis, retention reports, and cohort segmentation tools are especially helpful because they let us visualize user journeys without needing complex queries. As a result, both engineering and product teams can explore product usage data more independently.

Performance is another standout. Even when we’re analyzing large volumes of event data, Mixpanel’s dashboards and reports load quickly, which makes it easier to dig into insights without frustrating delays. That responsiveness is important for day-to-day product analysis.

On the integrations side, Mixpanel works smoothly with modern web and mobile applications, and integrating it into our frontend codebase was straightforward. Capturing events and sending product usage data from the application can be done with minimal setup, which helps us get value from the tool quickly.

Mixpanel also delivers strong ROI by enabling more data-driven decision-making. By analyzing funnels and user behavior, we can prioritize the features with the highest impact and identify friction points across the product.

For support and onboarding, the documentation and educational resources are solid and help teams understand product analytics concepts and best practices. This makes it easier for new team members to ramp up and start contributing.

Finally, Mixpanel has begun incorporating AI-powered insights that surface trends and patterns in user behavior automatically. These insights can help uncover opportunities or issues that aren’t immediately obvious when you’re looking at raw data.

Overall, Mixpanel combines fast analytics, clear user behavior insights, and a user-friendly interface, making it a valuable tool for teams focused on improving their product through data.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

One drawback of Mixpanel is that pricing can become expensive as event volume grows. Although the platform offers very powerful analytics capabilities, costs can rise quickly for products with large numbers of users or events, which may make it feel less cost-efficient than some newer analytics tools.

From a UI/UX standpoint, the interface is generally clean and approachable, but some advanced analytics features—such as complex cohort analysis or building custom reports—can take time for new users to fully grasp. There’s a noticeable learning curve, especially for team members who are new to product analytics.

When it comes to integrations and implementation, event tracking requires careful upfront planning and consistent event naming. If the tracking strategy isn’t structured well from the beginning, managing, organizing, and maintaining events later can become difficult.

On performance, dashboards are usually fast, but very complex queries or large datasets can sometimes take longer to process when you’re building detailed reports.

For support and onboarding, Mixpanel has solid documentation, but bringing new teams up to speed still takes effort, particularly around event modeling and core analytics concepts. More guided onboarding workflows would likely make adoption easier for non-technical users.

Finally, Mixpanel has started adding AI-powered insights, which is a positive direction, but these features still feel somewhat limited compared to what AI could potentially provide in terms of automated recommendations or deeper behavioral analysis.

Overall, none of these are major issues, but improvements in pricing flexibility, onboarding guidance, and AI-driven insights could make the platform even stronger.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mixpanel helps us solve the challenge of understanding how users actually interact with our product. By tracking events like feature usage, clicks, and user flows, we can quickly identify which features are performing well and where users drop off.

This visibility helps our team make data-driven product decisions, improve the user experience, and prioritize the right features. The dashboards and funnel analysis also allow product managers and engineers to explore insights themselves, which improves team productivity and faster decision-making.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

Sometimes it feels a little overloaded with features, and it isn’t always clear which tools to use for specific tasks or jobs.

This enables me to track important analytics for my company, website, and apps, as well as for my clients.

  ### 24. Outstanding Comfort and Ease with Database Management Tools

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angela G. | Administration Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

The comfort and ease of using the database management tools are outstanding.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

The mobile web UI is a bit too tiny, and it strains my eyes when I’m trying to navigate.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whole data formulation and analysis is just the best thing

  ### 25. Easy Integration with Detailed, Insightful Reporting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

What I appreciate most is how easy it is to integrate, along with the detailed reports it provides.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

We haven’t experienced any issues so far.

  ### 26. Insightful Analytics Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

I like that Mixpanel gave us insight into who was using our platform. The variety of graphs is super useful, and the ability to filter is great. Even though we used it on more of a basic level, these features really allowed us to see who was using the platform and how.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

I think sometimes the filtering can be a little bit clunky and not as smooth as I would like it to be. Also, the initial setup could be a little tricky for non-technical users, but luckily, our dev team was able to do it simply.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mixpanel gave us insight into who was using the platform. The variety of graphs allowed us to visualize that data in different ways that made sense for our needs.

  ### 27. Support Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrey M. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

Their focus is exclusively on analytics, unlike Amplitude, which I find too broad. I appreciate having statistical significance displayed directly in the reports. The idea of alerts is also excellent, although unfortunately, they do not function as intended.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

The support experience has been terrible. As a paying customer, we've been waiting for two weeks for a response to resolve a critical bug affecting alerts, but have yet to hear back. It feels like they simply don't care, and in the meantime, we're dealing with false positive alerts on a daily basis.

Additionally, there's a significant issue with the user merging feature. Its implementation is far inferior compared to what Amplitude offers.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The user behaviour analytics feature provides valuable insights into how users interact with the software. It helps identify patterns and trends, making it easier to understand user preferences and improve the overall experience.

  ### 28. Very handy tool for the product analytics

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

It has great AI agent that evolves fast. Now it can create dashboards based on prompts. Though it still requires understanding of the events inside the dashboards

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

I think AI agent will continue improving providing more meaningful conclusions and insights

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking of user behavior and features performance

  ### 29. Unified Analytics, Easy Setup, but with a Learning Curve

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

  ### 33. Affordable Pricing That Unlocks More Useful Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

The pricing is very affordable compared to competitors, and it unlocks more useful features, unlike others that hide them behind paywalls.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

It can feel overly complicated to find the simple features and metrics I’m looking for. The UX and UI could definitely be improved to make navigation more straightforward.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The most important metric they provide is how the end user engages with specific elements you add to your solution. This is especially useful for A/B testing, as long as your traffic is high enough.

  ### 34. Deep Behavior Analytics That Perfectly Complements Google Analytics

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

It has a learning curve; you need some skills and understanding of metrics to start working with it.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to understand which parts of a funnel are working well and which need attention and improvement.

  ### 35. Intuitive UI with Fast Analysis, But Lightweight A/B Testing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

I appreciate Mixpanel's simple and intuitive UI, which is one of the best I've worked with. It provides fast and configurable ways to conduct deep product analysis. I also like how it allows me to do quick or exploratory analysis and slice up the data in various ways, which speeds up and enhances my ability to analyze data. The initial setup was very easy for me.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

AB testing capabilities were relatively lightweight because they tend to prioritize their signal product over AB tests.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Mixpanel for retention and funnel analysis, and product analysis. Its simple, intuitive UI provides fast, configurable ways for deep product analysis, and lets me do quick exploratory analysis, speeding up and amplifying my data analysis ability.

I appreciate the clear visibility into the full customer journey across all my channels, allowing me to see what's driving behavior and revenue. Mixpanel lets me validate experiments quickly. I like using the funnels and retention reports to help me quantify long-term engagement. Session replay and heatmaps allow me to zoom into how users behave to improve customer experience. **What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

I find the learning curve for marketers who are not familiar with the deep data to be steep.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Mixpanel for clear visibility into the customer journey, validating experiments quickly, and turning broad journey patterns into actionable insights.

  ### 37. Game changer to our Black Friday efforts

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matan K. | Director of Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

MixPanel is super simple, flexible and robust. We previously used a very centrailsed approach with Tablaue, where only the data team were able to produce complex reports. The shift to mixpanel proved to be a huge game chnager that helped ys x2.5 on Black Friday. The real time, the decentralised approach so everyone have the abuility tpo create reports, the ease of use - all made our team much more data savvy than before.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

After 1 year or so of packing it with our data, we feel some clutter and slowness - but I assume this is part of us needing to become more efficient with our use of data and events.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It enabled us to quickly react to change in our subscription funnel and optimise it in real time. Easy to produce AB test board proven to be a huge win for us.

  ### 38. Fast, Easy Metric Changes Without Waiting for Data to Load

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

Easy to use. FAST. Create create and make changes to metrics without waiting for data to load- which is super helpful.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

Not clear what best practices are for needs specific to our business. Usually need to consult a technical rep for guidance. Not mobile friendly. Can I please set a "default" project?

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Group analytics we just got going, and really helpful for our B2B business. Seems really overpriced so am considering other options. Wasn't clear how to get group analytics going

  ### 39. Mixpanel Makes Clickstream Insights Easy for Non-Technical Product Teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

Mixpanel makes it extremely easy for non-technical product teams to access clickstream data and build things they care about to measure UX flows.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

Right now, I cannot merge projects together which can be frustrating

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is bringing our product teams closer to their data. They do not have to know SQL to work with the data, and the onboarding was fairly easy. Self-service is core to us. For me, this free's up time for data analysts to do more complex tasks

  ### 40. A great tool to track and understand how your customers use your product.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2018

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

The live view of events in real-time. We almost instantly receive the actions that user did in the live-view and that's really great.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

Not very intuitive UI in some cases. Meaning in some cases it's hard to find what you're looking for specifically. Also maybe improve a little bit the filtering options, so that it's easier to combine multiple filters into one.

**Recommendations to others considering Mixpanel:**

Make use of more features that Mixpanel has to offer.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us with understanding on how our users are using our product, therefore we know what new features to develop and how to improve the existing ones.

  ### 41. A Very versatile product analytics application

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Athar N. | Senior Software Test Engineer - 1, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

With this platform, you can monitor events from your application or product almost in real time as users interact with it. The reporting features are robust, and the data visualization tools are highly effective. Pretty easy to use. One of the standout benefits is the ability to create funnels, enabling you to track user engagement and other important metrics as people use your application. Additionally, you can manage multiple servers there and attach properties to events, which helps you analyze how events with specific properties perform throughout the entire flow. Also I had faced a problem with some events not showing up the customer support helped me and resolved my issue quickly after I mailed them. I sometimes use it more than twice a week.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

For someone new to Mixpanel, it can be a bit complicated to use at first. The platform offers a wide range of features, which may feel overwhelming. I also think there should be more support documents and materials available to help users learn more quickly. Additionally, it can be quite expensive.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MixPanel makes it easy for me to monitor user engagement and quickly identify any issues in the user experience, thanks to its real-time event tracking features. It also lets me generate and share user engagement data and reports, which is especially helpful for our company as we focus on improving our product.

  ### 42. A power Data Viz tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Philippine D. | Senior Data Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

New AI features, push events easily to mixpanel

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

Ideally the user profile even with the custom roles is still lacking of flexibility

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mixpanel helps us to
- define and share to the company the metrics we built and spread them
- make easily analysis, go into the details of some metrics..
- identify bugs with alerts
- govern our data

  ### 43. Deep, Actionable Insights Into How Clients Use Our Product

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

Being able to understand exactly how clients interact with our product. There is so much relevant context in the details and being able to answer specific questions related to usage is critical to unblocking certain change management pieces

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

It can be complicated if you don't know what you're looking for, there is lots to navigate

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing me to answer questions from client leadership specific to how their teams are interacting (or not interacting) with our product

  ### 44. Powerful Insights for Product Teams, Needs Better Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noa T.

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

I use Mixpanel to understand how our users interact with our product, which helps me set goals for improvements and track changes. I like using the 'Insights' feature a lot because it's the most convenient tool for investigating our data and creating queries. I know our events well, so 'Insights' makes it easy for me to understand our data.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

Sometimes the data I see in funnels doesn't match the data in Insights, even with properties set up well. It's hard to create an alert for data I don't have, and faking the event isn't possible. I used to use cohorts a lot but it's hard to find that screen now. I'd like better Intercom integration. The current integration isn't good enough, and I can't sync specific cohorts.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mixpanel helps me understand user interaction, set improvement goals, track changes, and investigate bugs using product analytics.

  ### 45. Intuitive UI, Powerful Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gonzalo T.

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

I like the UI for building reports on the fly and the ability to integrate tons of tools. Usually, building the right reports helps us through A/B testing, and understanding user behavior based on certain segments, even comparisons, are great tools when debating our products with different stakeholders. The ability to export cohorts to marketing tools has greatly improved our product-marketing efforts, as well as event dumping into our data warehouse to correlate product growth with other business KPIs. The initial setup of Mixpanel was super easy, which is one of the key aspects I appreciate.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

Might be me, but the User Flows took me a while to figure it out, and in some products it is still difficult to set up and get value for it, despite on paper being a super powerful feature. Another key aspect I think can be improved is Board management, especially on deleted or guest accounts. They're overall difficult to manage and audit when changes to the lexicon happen. We usually rely on emojis in the title and other 'hacks' to ensure a board is up-to-date and worth reading. Lexicon events remaps, although dangerous, might be a powerful feature for data admins. The feature that helps us understand metric deviations is hidden when it should be a core feature for any insight report or board.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Mixpanel for understanding ROI for features, KPIs, and user behavior. It aids in building reports for A/B testing, understanding segments, and exporting cohorts to improve product-marketing efforts and correlate growth with business KPIs.

  ### 46. Flexible Analytics with Intuitive Dashboards

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

Mixpanel is an excellent tool for tracking user behavior on our frontend applications. I appreciate its user-friendly interface, which makes it easy to create custom and intuitive dashboards.

Another advantage is its support for custom data in addition to the standard event data it collects (such as date, browser, and location). This flexibility is a significant benefit, as it allows us to tailor the data we track and incorporate it into our dashboards as needed.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

It would a great additional beneficial to have a more comprehensive selection of templates available for graphics. Additionally, incorporating AI to help reconcile various events and tag them according to specific areas of the product would be a valuable improvement.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Mixpanel to conduct more in-depth analysis of how users interact with our systems, particularly to monitor the adoption of new features, track success and failure rates, and gain insight into the main user flows. It also provides a focused view of how people navigate between our features. This data is then used to guide further improvements to our product or to address specific problem areas where we notice frequent errors or unexpected behavior.

  ### 47. Intuitive Dashboards, Essential for Data Insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelsey Rose W. | Sr. Creative Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

I like how the Mixpanel interface is very easy to navigate, even for those who aren't particularly tech or data-centered. It's very reliable and helps me digest information clearly so I can make quick and informed decisions. This ease of use is imperative for our business as it means I don't have to dive through complex data, making the interface incredibly useful.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

I would actually say if there's a way for Mixpanel to start distilling its own analytics through more AI, it'd be great. If I can do less thinking and more doing, it'd be awesome.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mixpanel streamlines data sharing, making it easy for me to digest information visually. It's not confusing and supports quick, informed decision-making.

  ### 48. Pinpoints User Drop-Offs So You Can Fix Your App Fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Idhant . | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

The ability to see exactly where my users are dropping off and then fixing those parts of my app

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

Sometimes the events take a couple hours to propagate when you make charts

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping user retention and conversion

  ### 49. Powerful Features, But Mobile Interface Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrien B.

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

I love managing different events, cohorts, and the ability to create and share customized dashboards. This allows me to leverage exactly the information I need. Mixpanel really meets the needs well, where other solutions had missing features.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

There are two aspects that I find problematic with Mixpanel. First, when I look at the charts by week or by day, the data for the current period is displayed with dotted lines. Although this is relatively clear, it gives the impression that it is a projection, and as a result, we often see that at the end of the day, it is in free fall, which can be misleading since the day is not over. It is not always very clear. Secondly, the mobile interface really needs improvement. Accessing Mixpanel on a mobile is very complicated, it works very poorly, and it is not visually appealing. A better mobile interface would be a huge plus.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Mixpanel to track user progress, manage daily subscriptions, and the entirety of AB tests.

  ### 50. Quick, User-Friendly Metrics Analyzer with a Steep Setup Curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Mixpanel?**

I like that Mixpanel is easy to use, loads fast, and is unconfusing for most employees to look at. It's really convenient that just one person needs to set it up, and then everyone at the company can view it without needing to ask questions. As a metrics dashboard, high performance is important, and Mixpanel does just that.

**What do you dislike about Mixpanel?**

It's a bit difficult for initial setup. You get used to it over time, but the learning curve is a bit steep.

**What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Mixpanel for tracking company metrics in one place. It's easy to use, fast, and clear, so everyone can see metrics without asking questions, though the initial setup is challenging.
