What do you like best about Mixpanel?

What I like best about Mixpanel is how effectively it brings user behaviour, product usage, and conversion data into one place, making it easier to turn data into actionable insights. The interface is intuitive, and features like funnels, cohorts, retention reports, and detailed event analysis allow me to quickly understand user journeys, identify drop-offs, and evaluate campaign performance without relying heavily on technical teams. Its integrations with other analytics and marketing tools also make it easier to connect behavioural insights with CRM and campaign data, giving us a more complete view of the customer journey. The platform performs well when analysing large volumes of user data, and the ability to quickly filter, segment, and drill down into reports significantly reduces the time spent on manual analysis. From an ROI perspective, this efficiency is one of the biggest benefits, as it helps us make faster and more informed targeting and campaign decisions. The onboarding experience and documentation are helpful when exploring different capabilities, while the AI and intelligence features provide an additional layer of support by helping identify trends and patterns that may otherwise take more time to uncover manually. Overall, Mixpanel has made our analytics workflow more efficient and has helped us move from simply looking at metrics to understanding the behaviour behind them and using those insights to drive better CRM decisions. What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

One area where Mixpanel could improve is making the overall experience more streamlined for users working with complex datasets and multiple reports. While the UI is generally intuitive, some advanced analysis and navigation flows can feel slightly cumbersome, especially when building or modifying detailed funnels and cohorts. On the integrations side, having more flexibility and simpler configuration for connecting data across different marketing and analytics platforms would be helpful, as setting up or troubleshooting integrations can sometimes require additional effort. Performance is generally good, but reports involving large datasets or multiple filters can occasionally take longer to load, which can slow down analysis when quick insights are needed. From a pricing and ROI perspective, the value is strong for teams that actively use advanced analytics, but the pricing structure can feel difficult to justify for teams with lighter usage, so more flexible plans based on usage or specific features could be beneficial. The onboarding experience could also be improved with more guided walkthroughs for advanced features, helping users get value from the platform faster. What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using Mixpanel, analysing user behaviour and understanding where users were dropping off required a lot of manual data consolidation across different sources, which made it difficult to get a clear view of the customer journey. Mixpanel has helped solve this by bringing event-level behavioural data into an intuitive interface where we can quickly build funnels, cohorts, retention reports, and segment users based on their actions. This has made it much easier to identify high-intent users, understand conversion drop-offs, and evaluate the impact of different CRM campaigns and product touchpoints. The integrations with other analytics and marketing platforms also help connect behavioural insights with campaign data, reducing the need to manually reconcile information across tools. From a performance perspective, being able to analyse and filter large datasets quickly has significantly reduced the time required for regular reporting and analysis, allowing us to move faster from identifying an insight to taking action. The platform also provides good ROI by reducing manual analytical effort and helping us make more informed targeting and campaign decisions. Its intuitive UI, documentation, and onboarding resources make it relatively easy for teams to adopt, while the AI and intelligence features provide additional support in identifying patterns and trends.
