"Natural Workflow Fit for Technical Prompts, Reasoning, and Drafting Code"
4/5
What do you like best about Mistral AI?

Integrating Mistral AI into my practice has felt natural because it responds effectively to technical prompts without complicating my workflow. It has helped me develop my skills in mathematical reasoning, deepen my understanding of algorithms, and draft technical notes—or even code—starting from initial technical prompts. The responses are concise enough to iterate on quickly, while still providing sufficient detail for me to validate the reasoning. I largely rely on Mistral AI along with Python, Jupyter Notebooks, Visual Studio Code and popular data analysis packages like NumPy and pandas. I will often use Mistral to explore a solution or resolve an idea and test the solution right away in my notebook or coding environment. This is pretty convenient because everything is done within the normal flow of work without breaking away from what I’m doing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mistral AI?

The primary thing that I would like to improve is consistency in performance. For simple technical queries, the answers are immediate, but when it comes to more complicated questions relating to math or programming, then sometimes the answers might take some time or several rounds in order to get the depth of explanation that is required. From the cost perspective and return on investment, it is also challenging to evaluate the worth of usage, especially if the usage frequency is not consistent.
