## Miro Reviews
 ### 1. Miro Makes Collaborative Planning Effortless with Intuitive UI and Powerful Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manish U. | Senior Associate (SDE III), Financial Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Miro has become one of the tools I rely on the most for project design and collaborative planning. I’ve used it extensively during brainstorming sessions, workflow discussions, and architecture planning, and it consistently keeps everyone aligned. The UI/UX is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate, which makes collaboration feel natural even for new users. Performance is smooth even on complex boards, and integrations with Jira, Confluence, and Slack simplify execution. I also found the AI features genuinely useful for organizing ideas faster. Their support team has been responsive whenever needed, and overall the pricing delivers excellent ROI for the productivity and collaboration benefits it provides.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

The only reason I’d rate it 9/10 instead of 10 is that very large boards can occasionally feel slightly cluttered, and some advanced features take time for new users to fully explore. Pricing can also feel a bit premium for smaller teams, but overall the productivity gains and collaboration efficiency make the ROI absolutely worth it.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Miro helps solve one of the biggest challenges in collaborative projects — keeping ideas, discussions, planning, and execution aligned in one place. Earlier, brainstorming sessions, workflow diagrams, and project discussions were scattered across multiple tools and documents, which often created confusion and slowed decision-making.

With Miro, my team can visually collaborate in real time, map out project designs, create workflows, and organize ideas much faster. It has especially improved communication during remote discussions and cross-functional planning sessions. The integrations and AI-assisted features also help reduce manual effort, making meetings more productive and execution more streamlined.
It really helps to present design ideas to larger forums to get their feedback and agreement.

 ### 2. Streamlined Brainstorming with Amazing Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalie S. | Marketing specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I use Miro mainly for work, especially when I’m brainstorming new ideas. I really like being able to keep everything in one place and build mind maps, so I don’t lose a single thought. Miro gives me plenty of options—sticky notes, text, mind maps, and lots of stickers—and everything feels nicely organized and easy to find.

Getting started was straightforward, and I’ve never needed a tutorial or customer support, which is a big plus for me. I also appreciate that I can use Miro with my Google spreadsheets or Notion, since that makes my workflow more convenient. On top of that, Miro has been very reliable for me and hasn’t crashed at all. Overall, it’s absolutely worth the money.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

So far, I haven’t really found any downsides to Miro. That said, I also haven’t had much time to try all of its features yet, such as AI Sidekick.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Miro to keep all my ideas in one place and build mind maps, so I don’t lose a single thought. It also helps me prioritize ideas, create timelines, and plan future tasks more clearly.

 ### 3. Miro Elevated Our Team Meetings with Templates, Integrations, and Interactive Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle P. | Finance & Admin Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Miro has replaced our physical whiteboards, where we used to take pictures of them on our phones or document everything in Google Docs. It’s elevated our team meetings by giving us a visual way to capture what we discuss and by serving as a central workspace hub. The many templates are especially helpful for our small nonprofit as we document processes, map client journeys, and run brainstorming sessions. The nonprofit discount makes it viable for us due to the reasonable price. I specifically appreciate how it integrates with our other platforms. My team would say they love the interactive features like GIFs, sticky notes, voting, and more.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

I’m not a big fan of the “bring everyone to me” feature. I really wish there were a “follow me” option instead. The AI also hasn’t been as helpful as I’d hoped, although that could be user error on my end. Aside from that, everything else has been great.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We no longer lose pictures of our whiteboards or overlook photos of the actual physical boards we use to dump our brains and map out processes. It has also increased our team and meeting productivity.

 ### 4. A Whiteboard-Like Digital Canvas That Keeps My Ideas Organized

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mihrinur D. | entrepreneur designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I love that it feels like a whiteboard. I’m always looking for fast ways to visualize my brainstorms, concept ideas, and mind maps, so being able to do that digitally is incredibly useful for me. It’s also really comforting to work in a way that feels like I’m actually making a collage. As someone with ADHD, being able to see all my ideas at once and zoom in and out helps me stay focused without feeling scattered, which makes it especially helpful during the design process.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Since I earn in Turkish lira, the current pricing is not very accessible for me. For that reason, I think it would be really helpful if features like adding custom colors and fonts were also available in the free version.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a freelance designer and entrepreneur, having my entire design process with me at all times, almost as if it’s always presentation-ready, and being able to share it with my partners or collaborators whenever needed, makes my work so much easier.

 ### 5. All-in-One Whiteboard with Helpful AI Meeting Summaries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Udita J. | Technical Director and Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I love that I can view ALL my whiteboard (meeting) content & messaging within one application and also the ai summary of the meeting content has been very useful for helping me quickly review what was discussed and instead having to recall the entire conversation when I've had a long day at work. Additionally, even with poor internet quality @ home, I can still utilize Miro. Also, I appreciate seeing who is speaking/typing while we are in a group discussion.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

The UI is completely cluttered & I can never seem to locate where to adjust the settings I am looking for. It seems very slow/heavy on my machine. I HATE getting pings on both my phone & laptop at the same time for EVERY LITTLE THING Too many clicks to accomplish something basic. Wish I could simply turn off the "roll-over" calls from my coworkers.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Miro allows us to keep all of our information from being fragmented across numerous e-mails & random chat conversations. We utilize Miro at Infosys to be able to observe what each other are doing while we are not physically located in the same building. The AI aspect of Miro assists by allowing me to NOT have to take notes about the major topics covered in meetings. Miro enables us to make decisions FASTER due to the ability to view ALL relevant information contained in one area.

 ### 6. Miro Makes Real-Time Brainstorming and Team Collaboration Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jakub S. | Product Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Miro?**

What I like most about Miro is how seamlessly it supports real-time brainstorming and building workflows. It stays responsive even on larger boards, and its integrations with other tools make collaboration much easier across the team. The onboarding experience is straightforward, so new team members can get started quickly without needing much training. Overall, it offers solid value for the features included, and the AI-powered tools help speed up organizing ideas and content during workshops or planning sessions.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

One thing I dislike about Miro is that very large boards can sometimes become hard to manage and navigate efficiently. Some of the more advanced features and integrations are also locked behind higher pricing tiers, which isn’t always ideal for smaller teams. On top of that, while the AI features are helpful, they still feel somewhat limited when you’re working through more complex workflows.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Miro helps us organize ideas, plan workflows, and collaborate more effectively in remote meetings and brainstorming sessions. It makes communication more visual and structured, which saves time and keeps the team aligned on projects, priorities, and next steps.

 ### 7. Excellent for Wireframing and Brainstorming

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohan S. | Design Technologist & Product Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Miro?**

The instant wireframe templates and the ability to quickly interact with teammates make this tool ideal for fast brainstorming sessions using sticky notes. I mainly rely on it for brainstorming, as it allows me to easily and rapidly organize my references, ideas, user stories, wireframes, and timelines. One of its best features is the ease of sharing with the team, even if they don't have an account, which also simplifies sharing with clients. Since it's a universal tool that almost everyone is familiar with, it has become our company's top choice and frequently used.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

One issue I have is the lack of control over the design process and the inability to create my own design templates. Since I use this tool primarily for wireframing and brainstorming within the design industry, this limitation is quite noticeable. Additionally, I find it challenging to guide the AI prompts to achieve the specific results I need, especially when requesting it to design a flow. Often, I have to craft the ideal prompt using other AI tools first. It would be much more convenient if there were a 'chat' feature available before generating the final output.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we started using Miro, our biggest challenges were collaboration and maintaining transparency between teams, as well as in project operations and delivery. Miro has now become our preferred tool, allowing us to integrate with MS teams, keep all project documents, ideas, wireframes, and timelines in one centralized location. Most importantly, it gives every team member access, which has significantly improved our collaboration. I also appreciate how quick and easy it is to insert GIFs and videos and play them directly on the same canvas—this feature is truly brilliant.

 ### 8. Flexible, Fast, and Easy-to-Use Whiteboarding for Workshops

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael N. | Principal Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Miro?**

The ability to quickly and easily create sticky notes, link sticky notes to other objects like images or text, quickly create tables and sort fields. It's very flexible and I have been able to use it for lots of different tasks like running ceremonies, workshops, facilitation etc. The flexibility and the range of tools is very good and it's all very easy to use, especially with how fast it is to zoom and pan around.

In the past I have used clunky tools where it's hard to create objects or easily pan around.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Sometimes finding what I need can be hard. If I'm looking for a specific thing, I'm not sure if it exists as a button somewhere in Miro or as part of the "plugins" or "extra tools". I wish surfacing of those commonly used tools could be better.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do a lot of workshop facilitation for different clients, understanding what their needs and requirements are and then mapping out the tasks thatneed to be done, estimating how much work there is, and collecting questions and follow up to-dos from people. Miro makes this very easy to all quickly do. In the past, if it was in person it was all sticky notes which were good but then a nightmare if they fell off and you forgot where they came from. Also, the digitisation of it was a nightmare. If it was online in the past without Miro, we would just either use Word docs or Powerpoint presentations to do it. Now with Miro, it's all in 1 place and very easy to do. I also love the collaboration between multiple people. I'm constantly impressed how Miro can sustain so many people changing so many things at the same time without it breaking!

 ### 9. Perfect Platform for Teachers and Students

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shraddha S. | Global Coding Instructor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I use Miro as an online collaborative platform for teaching my students. It helps in creating mind maps, flowcharts, and designs. I appreciate that it allows running brainstorm sessions, taking notes, and interacting in real time. It's quite interactive, and I think it's the best platform for teachers and students. The feature I find best is the infinite scroll, which allows zooming in and out. The drag-and-drop tools, sticky notes, shapes, images, links, and real-time collaboration are features I just love. I also like its collaborative nature, where multiple students can use it together, and the availability of ready-made templates. Integration with tools like Slack, Zoom, and Google Drive is a great part of Miro. I find it very easy to use and handy, and my students have never faced any problems using it. I feel it's very straightforward and never faced any challenges with it.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

I think, in loading it takes a little bit time.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Miro for teaching my students, creating mind maps, flowcharts, designing, and running brainstorm sessions. It's interactive, allowing students to interact and try. It's a great platform for teachers and students to collaborate.

 ### 10. Flexible, High-Performing Storyboarding Tool That Fits My Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle M. | Intermediate Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I like that Miro has a lot of flexibility between platforms. I am a graphic designer and copy/paste assets from my Adobe library into Miro often. It's a great tool for storyboarding and quality control. I also like the interactive features, like stick notes. It also performs really well and integrates naturally into my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

I think the most common problem I have with Miro are the unstable connection issues. Miro will often go "offline" at random, which slows down my work flow. Sometimes Miro will get bogged down with larger PDFs that are posted onto boards. This isn't critical, as PNGs and JPEGs are supported, but I feel there is less flexibility when it comes to PDF files. Also, sometimes Miro isn't the easiest to use on a mobile device. When I am out in the field with a client and need to check one of my boards for reference, sometimes it hardly loads. Having a stable mobile app could really help using Miro on the go!

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Miro helps my team with visual brainstorming, connecting creative team members in a hybrid workplace, and creating a more efficient workflow. We save time as designers with a visual reference, especially when it comes to brainstorming and quality control.
