"Miro Makes Visual Collaboration Easy to Share"

4/5

What do you like best about Miro?

A picture is worth a thousand words but it takes more than a thousand words to make a picture.

Visualization of thought can be difficult but once done, it is easy to share your thoughts quickly with others. Miro is very helpful in collaborating with others remote and local to derive this picture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

The imported documents are not always complete or lack the clarity of the original document. This can cause enough rework to make it easier to just redraw everything in Miro. It is also easy to have a visualization that is the result of a collaborative effort end up like a bowl of spaghetti. It would be nice if it had templates that were less art project and more business focused. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?

I work in an environment like many others where the workforce is aging out, very little is documented, and most knowledge is passed along through “tribal” communication. I’ve been using Miro to extract technical information and refactor it into visualizations that the average person can follow (CFD), followed by a technical drawing and a 4C. The intent is to build an archive of what the system looks like today, then identify the legacies and create a plan to refactor into a modern tool stack. Much of this work has not occurred because nobody understood the AS-IS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
