You can truly build out almost any need in Mindbody—there always seems to be a way. I run about 10 unique programs with very different requirements, and I’ve been able to set up Mindbody so it works well for each program and for their clients. The AI is helpful for smaller tasks, and their support ticket system is excellent. They usually call within about 10 minutes and can resolve just about anything. The branded app is nice. Mindbody has let our clients do most of the work for us by using our branded app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To get something working correctly, you often have to jump between multiple places in the system. If even one box is left unchecked in any of those spots, it won’t work, and then you’re stuck figuring out why. For example, to create a membership you have to set up a pricing option, a contract, and the membership itself, and then you still have to connect all of them together.
There are also so many different Mindbody software and websites, such as the core website, branded web, branded app, Attentive, Business. To get something to work, you often have to go to multiple websites to set things up correctly.
It’s also hard to tell whether you actually deleted or truly removed something, or whether it’s still lingering in a way that can affect future programming you build. One time, something wasn’t working because there was still a class scheduled, but it was sitting inside a deactivated service category. Fixing issues like that takes a hell of an investigation. It’s like surgery. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
