What do you like best about Mimecast Security Awareness Training?

During our proof-of-concept (PoC) evaluation, what stood out most was Mimecast's engaging, humor-driven micro-learning approach. The short, sitcom-style modules were effective in keeping engagement high during testing without causing training fatigue. Additionally, evaluating the SAFE Phish feature demonstrated how easily actual targeted attacks can be converted into custom phishing simulations for high contextual relevance. The platform’s automated campaign scheduling and intuitive SAFE Score risk dashboard also make tracking human risk metrics very streamlined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mimecast Security Awareness Training?

During our solution evaluation, we noted that while the out-of-the-box video content is high quality, customization options remain somewhat limited when attempting to align modules with highly specific internal security policies. Additionally, administrative reporting in the trial environment could offer more granular, flexible filtering for department-level analytics, and highly technical teams might require supplementary advanced training beyond the core comedic modules. What problems is Mimecast Security Awareness Training solving and how is that benefiting you?

We evaluated Mimecast to address human risk around social engineering, credential harvesting, and phishing attacks without disrupting daily operations. During the trial, the platform demonstrated how short, engaging modules drive completion rates. In testing, it proved effective at raising security awareness, lowering simulated click-through rates, and encouraging users to report suspicious emails to the SOC team.
