What do you like best about MigrationWiz?

What stands out regarding this platform is, how easily it simplifies what is usually a complex migration process. This platform provides a centralised cloud-based platform for migrating mailboxes, documents and other OneDrive SharePoint files along with the teams and other workloads without even requiring any on-premises infrastructure. Their UI interface is very straightforward and projects are easy to organize and their ability to run pre-stage migrations before the final cutover helps us to minimise the downtime for our end users. I also like that this platform scales well when migrating a small business of thousands of users across multiple tenants, it supports concurrent migrations and detailed project tracking. Their pre built credential verification and audit logs and their broad support for onboarding multiple office software are top-notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MigrationWiz?

Although this platform waters down most of their migration process but their initial setup can be bit technical, specifically for more complex tenant-to-tenant migrations or even environments with customised permissions. Having a dedicated onboarding support to help or guide this process would be a major add-on with this platform. Understanding their triplicities and following migration guidelines carefully is very important to avoid any configuration issues. And their support quality should also be increased as per the complexity of the migration, and troubleshooting uncommon scenarios sometimes requires more extensive documentation and expertise in this. What problems is MigrationWiz solving and how is that benefiting you?

This platform helps us by solving the problem of removing the effort involved in cloud migration projects, along with relying on manual exports and scripts or even lengthy migration windows. Their stage migration approach allows us to synchronise data ahead of time and complete the final cutover much faster and easier. Their biggest benefit has been saving our engineering time while reducing the migration risk, and these projects are very much easier to monitor and migrate, where the progress is clearly visible. Their biggest benefit is also saving risk mitigation for any client migration projects.
