I use Word for pretty much any document that needs more than a few paragraphs. It can be an instruction, a draft, some course material or just a document I need to send to someone. What I like most is that I already know where everything is. I don't have to learn anything or think about which tool would be better for the job. I open Word, write what I need, fix the formatting a little and I'm done. I've been using it for so long that working in it feels almost automatic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes formatting in Word can be more frustrating than it should be. I'll copy something from another document and suddenly the font, spacing or bullet points look completely different from the rest of the page. Usually it's easy enough to fix, but there are moments when I spend more time adjusting the formatting than I expected. That's probably the only part of Word that still annoys me after using it for so many years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
