## Microsoft SharePoint Reviews
  ### 1. Centralized Collaboration and Document Control with Seamless Microsoft Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tanzim S. | Lead Expert - Digital Transformation and Innovation, Global Field Service, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?**

What stands out most about Microsoft SharePoint is how effectively it centralizes collaboration and document management within the Microsoft ecosystem. It gives teams a single place to store, organize, and share documents, backed by strong version control so everyone stays aligned and works from the most up-to-date file.

Its seamless integration with tools like Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive is another major benefit. It’s convenient to co-author documents in real time, share files quickly, and manage content without constantly switching between platforms. I also appreciate its flexibility: you can set up team sites, communication sites, and workflows that fit different business needs. Overall, it meaningfully strengthens collaboration, document governance, and knowledge sharing across teams.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?**

One of the biggest challenges is the complexity of setup and customization. SharePoint is very powerful, but configuring sites, permissions, and workflows can feel complicated and often requires admin or developer support. It also isn’t always intuitive for new users or for teams that need to get things set up quickly.

Another common issue is navigation and the overall user experience. If sites aren’t well structured, it can be hard to find documents or key information. Users may struggle with search accuracy or end up dealing with deeply nested folders, which slows things down and reduces efficiency.

A further drawback is that many advanced features require additional tools or skills. For example, building workflows or automations typically involves Power Automate, and deeper customizations may require Power Apps or development knowledge.

**What problems is Microsoft SharePoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SharePoint helps centralize documents and information that would otherwise be scattered across different tools, making it easier to find and manage content. It improves collaboration through real-time co-authoring and version control, reducing reliance on email-based file sharing. It also enhances governance with structured access controls and enables workflow automation, which saves time and improves overall efficiency.

  ### 2. Reliable System for Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shalu M. | Associate Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?**

I use Microsoft SharePoint to store Excel files and integrate them with other M365 tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps. I’ve also used SharePoint document libraries to maintain shared project files and keep track of documents that my team members can easily collaborate on. A key feature for me is being able to access a stored file and connect it directly to a workflow for automation. It’s very reliable as a backend data source for Power Apps and for reporting solutions.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?**

Sometimes the permission and access management can be confusing for first-time users, especially when multiple groups and inherited permissions are involved. Large files may load slowly, and certain changes can end up duplicated or not properly updated for other team members.

**What problems is Microsoft SharePoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The most useful feature is that SharePoint solves the problem of local file storage by providing a centralized file storage system. It makes it easier to share file changes and updates with all team members consistently, without having to resend the file to the team every single time something is updated. It also helps control file access permissions; for example, if someone leaves the project team, we can restrict their access to the files. In addition, we can set permissions such as edit or view-only access for specific folders.

  ### 3. Organized Document Sharing with Strong Access Control

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nitin V. | Full Stack Engineer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?**

We use SharePoint mainly for document storage and sharing, and the document libraries are really helpful for keeping everything organised. Team sites make it easy to have separate spaces for different teams, so files don’t get mixed up. The permissions and access control are also quite good—you can control exactly who can view or edit specific documents without any hassle.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?**

The search is honestly quite disappointing. Sometimes I search for a file and it just doesn’t show up, even though I know it’s there. The UI also feels a bit outdated and confusing, and new users can take a long time to figure out how to navigate properly. Setting up permissions for the first time is also pretty complicated—there are too many options, and it’s easy to make mistakes.

**What problems is Microsoft SharePoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Earlier, all our documents were scattered across emails, Google Drive, and personal laptops, which was a complete mess. SharePoint solved that. Now everything is stored in one central place, and anyone with the right access can quickly find and edit documents without hunting around. It’s made document management far more organised and professional for the whole team.

  ### 4. Excellent Document Storage and Team Collaboration with Microsoft SharePoint

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roze R. | Senior Associate, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?**

The most helpful aspect of Microsoft SharePoint is that it’s a very good option for document storage and for sharing documents with the team. It supports strong team collaboration and makes it easy to access and review documents, even when the actual document owner isn’t available.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?**

Using this can be a little challenging for new users. Also, access controls can become complicated once too many members are using it.

**What problems is Microsoft SharePoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since I come from an IT background, we often need to do video calls that are recorded for sharing with clients. Because my team members’ shifts don’t overlap, giving handovers can be difficult at times. Also, whenever there’s an issue on the client’s end, we need to review the recorded video walkthrough to understand the situation and respond properly. Since we started using this, it has been much easier to track the video calls and verify everything. It’s also better than when we used to save recordings in our drive and then forget to provide access.

  ### 5. Microsoft Share-point Makes Document Storage and Access Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ali Omar F. | English Language Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?**

The best part is that I can save as many documents as I want without losing them. That’s great for accessibility. I can store my data and access it whenever I need to, without worrying about losing anything at any time. I also haven’t paid anything for the services I’ve used so far, so I believe the pricing is perfect. Furthermore, environment and design look very professional, easy to use and perfect to master.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?**

I don't have any significant issue with Microsoft Share-point. I think it's great.

**What problems is Microsoft SharePoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The environment is great, and I can easily access all the apps I need. I have access to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and others, which makes it really convenient. Overall, it’s a great experience. I never had any issue, and whenever I had a problem, always the team reached me out to solve my issue. The performance is perfect.

  ### 6. Simplifying information through thoughtful design

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivy M. | Graphic Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?**

I like how Microsoft SharePoint lets me build clean, structured pages quickly with drag-and-drop which makes designing our internal hubs and catalogs really efficient. As a designer I appreciate how flexible it is for customizing visuals like hero banners and sections without needing heavy dev work. It is really fast and reliable! I also love how it is easy to reach out to support whenever I have problems. Also, it is included in our suite so the pricing is very reasonable!

**What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?**

Sometimes the design flexibility feels limited especially when trying to push more custom or polished layouts beyond the default web parts. It can also feel a bit restrictive or inconsistent when spacing, alignment, and responsiveness don't behave as expected. Lastly, managing content and navigation across pages can get mess if the structure isn't setup carefully from the start.

**What problems is Microsoft SharePoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SharePoint solves the problem of scattered information by giving us one central place for content, which makes it easier to align design, messaging, and sales materials. It also helps organize and structure complex content into clear pages so users can quickly find what they need without relying on multiple tools. For me, that means I can design more purposeful that actually support how teams use the content.

  ### 7. Easy-to-Use SharePoint Storage With Versioning, Permissions, and Teams Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashutha K. | Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?**

SharePoint is an easy-to-use file storage platform. It makes it simple to version files, and it includes features for sharing files with access controls such as view and edit permissions for teammates. It’s also integrated with Teams: you can create a SharePoint site within Teams, upload files there, and a SharePoint site is created that stays integrated with Teams. Can create lists and upload all types of files and entire history of who edited the file ,viewed the file etc can be seen in the history section

**What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?**

SharePoint sometimes pauses file uploads when the file size is large, and I have to manually resume the upload.

**What problems is Microsoft SharePoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Shareponit helps store files, for example those relevant to a project, under a dedicated site. Access can be restricted to team members, and version history as well as usage history are available, with a rollback feature to return to older versions.Sharepoint makes it convenient to view the files from both web and mobile app

  ### 8. Great for Document Sharing, although phone app is too limited

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hellen Juliette S. | Spanish Interpreter, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?**

I like that Microsoft SharePoint allows me to share documents with the school's cloud, making them available for the whole company by just accessing the cloud. I appreciate being able to choose to use it to create documents available for all my colleagues. Uploading documents to this collaborative platform helps us see the work of everyone. in general microsoft is a good performance tool suite that I implement on my daily tasks

**What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?**

I'm not sure we could 'compartmentalize' for each subject. I want to make documents available for a team, only for that team and not the whole School. It's easy to use but not very intuitive.
It also requires to use the desktop app to function fully as intended, the phone version is too limited

**What problems is Microsoft SharePoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Microsoft SharePoint for sharing documents with the business cloud, making them accessible to the whole company. It helps me and my team see each other's work and collaborate effectively. its an easy way to find all the documents we make at anywhere we are.

  ### 9. Organized Document Management and Seamless Microsoft 365 Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Balram T. | Associate Consultant (AI/ML), Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?**

What I like best about Microsoft SharePoint is that it makes document management and team collaboration much more organized. I have used it for sharing files, managing internal documents, maintaining project-related resources, and collaborating across teams in a centralized workspace.

The integration with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive is especially useful because documents, communication, and collaboration stay connected within the same ecosystem. I also like the version control and access management features because they help teams work on shared files without losing track of updates or permissions.

In my experience, it has been very helpful for maintaining structured documentation and improving collaboration across larger teams.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?**

What I dislike a little about Microsoft SharePoint is that initially it takes some time to properly understand the setup and navigation. Managing permissions, folders, and access settings can become confusing, especially for new users or in large teams with many shared documents.

I have also faced situations where finding older files was not very straightforward because too many folders and document libraries were created over time. Sometimes the interface also feels slightly overloaded compared to simpler collaboration tools.

But after regular use and proper organisation, it becomes much easier to manage and works reliably for team collaboration and document sharing.

**What problems is Microsoft SharePoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft SharePoint helps solve the problem of scattered document management and team collaboration by keeping files, internal documents, and shared resources in one centralized place. Earlier, managing documents through emails or different shared folders used to create confusion with file versions and access control.

In my experience, SharePoint has made collaboration much more organized because teams can easily access shared documents, maintain version history, and work together on files without duplication issues. It is especially helpful for project documentation, internal knowledge sharing, and managing team resources across departments.

  ### 10. Helpful Platform for Team Collaboration & Document Organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vanessa S. | Account Manager | Employment Specialist, Staffing and Recruiting, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?**

SharePoint has been extremely helpful for keeping documents, onboarding materials, client records, and internal resources organized across our healthcare staffing team. I especially like how easy it is to securely share files, collaborate with team members remotely, and maintain version control without constantly emailing updated documents back and forth. It has helped streamline communication and improve overall workflow efficiency between departments, especially when managing multiple healthcare clients, credentialing files, and operational processes simultaneously.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?**

One challenge with SharePoint is that the platform can feel overwhelming at first, especially for users who are not very familiar with Microsoft’s ecosystem. File permissions, navigation, and folder structures can sometimes become confusing if sites are not organized properly. There can also be occasional syncing delays or issues between SharePoint and OneDrive, particularly when multiple users are editing documents at the same time.

**What problems is Microsoft SharePoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft SharePoint helps centralize and organize important operational documents, onboarding resources, client records, compliance materials, and internal communication workflows in one secure location. In healthcare staffing, we manage a high volume of credentialing documents, onboarding files, schedules, and client-related information daily, so having a centralized system significantly reduces confusion, duplicate work, and document loss. It has improved collaboration between remote teams, increased efficiency in accessing files quickly, and helped maintain better organization and compliance across multiple ongoing projects and healthcare accounts.
