What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

First off, I have been using SharePoint for YEARS, and I LOVED IT when I first discovered it back in 2010. Over the years, I have developed many team and departmental sites, with shared calendars and document repositories. Version controlling, and locking down areas as my little heart desired. I also love, love, love the integrations I had with my SharePoint sites and calendars, with other applications like my Outlook. These were game-changers for me and so helpful. What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

I feel like SharePoint is becoming a little obsolete, with the collaboration and calendar sharing that Teams offers as well as the document organization capabilities of apps like box.com have left me using SharePoint less and less. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Microsoft SharePoint:

There are a lot of neat functions and endless possibilities for content organization, creation, and collaboration when using SharePoint. I would highly recommend using this application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft SharePoint solving and how is that benefiting you?

SharePoint is still the go-to for our team calendar. The integration with my Outlook calendar is awesome and so far, we have not been able to find any other alternative for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
