"Highly Customizable Collaboration Tool That Simplifies Intranet Management"
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

It is included as part of the base licensing and serves as a highly effective collaboration tool. Implementation is straightforward, and its endless customizability allows it to be used daily throughout our business. It greatly simplifies intranet management, document storage, and collaborative work. We have integrated it with workflow tools to take advantage of the list functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

While the included storage is fairly generous, expanding your storage further can become quite costly if you need a significant increase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

""Seamless Sharing: A Comprehensive Review of SMB for Efficient File and Printer Management""
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

One of the best things about Microsoft ShareMailbox is its seamless integration with the entire Microsoft ecosystem. It allows teams to collaborate effortlessly, as emails, calendar events, and tasks are all centralized. The ability to share a mailbox with multiple users makes it especially useful for team communication, while keeping everything organized and accessible in one place. The security features are also top-notch, ensuring that sensitive data remains protected while still being easily accessible by authorized users. It's a real productivity booster for teams that need to stay in sync! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

One thing that can be a bit tricky with Microsoft ShareMailbox is the initial setup, especially when it comes to managing multiple users or permissions. It may take a little time to get the hang of, especially if you're not very familiar with the platform. Occasionally, syncing can take a bit longer than expected, but once everything is up and running smoothly, it’s a very useful tool for collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for sharing information across a large divided company"
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

We use sharepoint a lot at my current company as well as at previous employers and it's a useful tool to collaborate on documents together as a team. I use it a lot for project management; from roadmap planning to go/no-go slides, it's all organized and it's so easy to spin up a new doc and share it with the right people to get collab going. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Sharepoint relies on the people using it to keep things organized, and a lot of people aren't organized. Over time, it can become difficult to find useful information.

Sometimes I've noticed that my edits get overwritten because they don't save quite right, not sure if that's specific to my implementation or not though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Integrative Power but Needs Better Usability"
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

I use Microsoft SharePoint to store files for my remote organization, ensuring access across various time zones. I appreciate its seamless integration with other Microsoft products, like Teams and Outlook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

However, its interface is not intuitive, making it hard to access personal files, and defaults can be confusing. Setup was straightforward, but my recommendation is a six out of ten. Customer support can also leave a lot to be desired. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Collaboration Hub for Biostatistics Teams"
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

As a biostatistician, I particularly value how Microsoft SharePoint centralizes all study-related documents and their version histories in one place. This centralization greatly streamlines collaboration with clinical teams, data management, and medical writing, since everyone can access and work from a single, controlled source of truth. The platform’s workflow automation features, such as review approvals and dataset sign-offs, significantly reduce the time spent on manual coordination. Additionally, I appreciate its strong integration with Excel, Teams, and Power BI, which helps make my daily statistical tasks more connected and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

For me, the main downside of SharePoint is that it often feels unintuitive, particularly when trying to navigate through complex folder structures or custom sites created by various teams. Uploading and syncing large datasets can be slow at times, and there are occasional conflicts with OneDrive syncing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Collaboration and Easy Implementation for Students"
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

What I appreciate most about this software is how efficiently it allows me to collaborate with others. Working together with people is truly seamless and effective thanks to its features. The Implementation part is quite good as it is similar to MS Powerpoint and easy to use. I haven't tried the Customer Support of this genuinely I dont know about that. I used this frequently as i am a college student so it works well for me to work with my friends and do our project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

The thing i disliked about this is the website of this software whenever I tried to work with other people on the website it is quite quirky sometimes the link is not opening or the data is not presented properly or data is not saving. One more thing the access given to other user is quite difficult to implement so please make it better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SharePoint - A Powerful Collaboration Platform"
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

What I like best about Microsoft SharePoint is its seamless integration with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, which makes document management and collaboration incredibly efficient. It provides a centralized platform where teams can store, share, and co-author documents in real time while maintaining version control and access security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

What I dislike about Microsoft SharePoint is its complexity and steep learning curve. While it’s powerful, setting up sites, managing permissions, and customizing workflows can be time-consuming and often requires technical expertise. Non-technical users may find the interface overwhelming, and performance can slow down with large document libraries or heavy customizations. Proper governance and maintenance are essential to prevent content sprawl and confusion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable and Secure Collaboration Platform for Enterprise Teams"
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

Microsoft SharePoint provides a secure and centralized platform for document management, collaboration, and internal communication. It integrates seamlessly with other Microsoft 365 tools like Teams, OneDrive, and Outlook, allowing teams to manage projects, share files, and access data from anywhere. The site and permission structure make it easy to organize content across departments such as IT, Marketing, and Operations. The overall stability and enterprise-grade compliance features make it a trusted platform for daily business operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

The user interface, while powerful, can feel complex for new users, especially when setting up permissions or workflows. Customizing SharePoint pages often requires technical knowledge or Power Automate/PowerApps expertise. Search performance occasionally lags with large document libraries, and synchronization issues with OneDrive can cause frustration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
