What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?

I like that you can make your programs (WinAutomation calls them "processes") as simple or as complicated as you want to. You can do anything as simple as reading a text file and emailing the 3rd line to someone to something as complicated as writing the 3rd line into a database after encrypting the 4th character then turning it that character into a screenshot and getting that screenshot's file size and comparing that with yesterday's screenshot filesize. What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?

I dislike that you cannot set up global variables. You can't just call a connection string that you use often by saying %strMyConnectionString%. You have to specify the parameters every time. I also dislike the slowness when parsing through large files or even large file lists. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Power Automate:

Consider having a dedicated WinAutomation server. This will make a great amount of daily tasks just "go away". Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Power Automate solving and how is that benefiting you?

All of our business problems are solved using WinAutomation. We have been able to write programs in minutes that take care of the most mundane and complex daily tasks. We are able to transfer data from here to there, validate data in our databases, and verify that websites are up and running, all in WinAutomation. The flexibility of this program is second to none!
