What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?

What I like most is how quickly I can create a form in just a few minutes, without having to spend time figuring things out first. I’ve mainly used it to collect responses for surveys and to share forms internally, and it’s always been straightforward to set up. The interface is clean and intuitive, so even when I don’t use it very often, I can still build what I need without any confusion.

Another thing I appreciate is that all responses are collected automatically in one place. I don’t have to dig through emails or compile anything manually. Being able to export the results to Excel is also helpful when I want to do a bit more analysis or share the data with others.

Because it’s part of Microsoft 365, it’s easy to share forms with colleagues, and people can respond directly in their browser without installing anything. It just works, and that’s probably the biggest reason I keep coming back to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?

I don’t really have any major issues with it. The only thing I’ve noticed is that when you’re trying to build more advanced forms with complex logic or heavier customization, the available options can feel a bit limited. For standard surveys and straightforward data collection it works perfectly well, but for more complex requirements I sometimes find myself wishing there were a few more ways to customize things.

What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?

It makes collecting information much easier. Instead of asking people to reply through emails or messages, I can create a form, share the link, and have all the responses collected automatically in one place.

I’ve used it for surveys, gathering information, and getting feedback. Because everything stays organized and can be exported to Excel, it saves me time and cuts down on a lot of manual work.
