What do you like best about Microsoft Copilot?

Graphics is minimal, no extra unnecessary graphics. Adding voice typing feature is good, especially when we want to review a large draft; we can just say instead of typing each question. It is quick, and I don't see any lag for results. AI recommendations are good as well when we investigate or ask about a security alert. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Copilot?

Sometimes I run into output errors. It gives different command outputs that aren’t supported by our security SIEM, even after I tell Copilot what outcome it should provide. I also have issues when uploading files: it won’t accept some formats, and older JSON format files sometimes fail as well. If Copilot could read and handle multiple file formats more reliably, it would be much easier to use. Another thing I’d like is having more model options so I can choose to run it slower or faster depending on the query I’m entering. These are the main things I dislike about Copilot. What problems is Microsoft Copilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

Definitely when it comes to reading logs—especially Windows logs and system logs—this used to take me a lot of time. Now I can just upload the log file to Copilot and ask it to pull out the necessary or important details, and it gives me the output quickly. It’s a really fast and efficient way to review logs. It’s also very helpful for suggesting queries to run or for performing threat hunting. When we need to write different types of queries for different security tools, and figure out what else we can run, Copilot provides options quickly, along with more alternative queries and suggestions. Also, it gives us links to outsource documents to check on any product or service or vulnerability report, or any support case creation or any tool onboarding documents, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
