I use Method CRM for invoicing, estimates, and coordinating installations for our business. It does an excellent job with emails, reminders, and payment tracking. I find the support for customizations outstanding, as their support staff are amazing, helping us create very customized applications. Method CRM fits our custom workflows for invoices, estimates, and installation projects perfectly, like a glove.

**What do you dislike about Method CRM?**

Better documentation for the audit trail and how to work with that would be great. Training on how to obtain certain data better is needed. The initial setup was a massive undertaking and took a long time and lots of work to reach the current point.

I really like Method CRM's deep, real-time integration with QuickBooks. This makes it unique and invaluable for our B2B operations, as it's not just syncing basic contact data. Instead, it keeps customers, invoices, payments, estimates, and transaction history fully aligned between sales and accounting, which eliminates double data entry and human errors. I also appreciate how user-friendly and straightforward the system is. Our team quickly adapted to using it without extensive training, and daily tasks like updating leads, creating invoices, and tracking customer interactions feel intuitive. The customer portal is another big plus, allowing clients to view invoices, make payments, and submit requests independently, saving us a lot of administrative time. The initial setup was surprisingly straightforward, which was a pleasant surprise compared to other CRMs we've used. For any B2B business using QuickBooks and needing a reliable CRM that aligns sales and accounting without fuss, Method CRM delivers stability, efficiency, and practical value.

The user interface looks a bit outdated compared to modern CRM tools, and some navigation feels slower or less intuitive than we’d like. Simple actions can take extra clicks, and the overall design isn’t as clean or modern as competitors. Customization is possible but can be tricky. More advanced workflows, custom fields, and pipeline adjustments sometimes require technical setup or support help, rather than being easy to modify in-house. We also noticed that some reporting options are basic, lacking deeper B2B sales analytics and visual dashboards we’d prefer for forecasting. Third-party integrations outside of QuickBooks are more limited, especially with European tools like popular DACH accounting software, local payment providers, or common marketing platforms. This forces us to use workarounds for certain workflows.

**What do you like best about Method CRM?**

Method CRM has been especially effective for managing our annual renewal contracts. It helps us stay on top of renewals and ensures we catch add-ons that increase the cost of renewals each year, which has been extremely valuable for accuracy and revenue tracking.

**What do you dislike about Method CRM?**

The main downside for us is that due to the level of customization, any changes require paid developer support. A small change can sometimes affect other areas of the system, so it’s critical that updates are handled by someone very familiar with how everything works. This makes changes more expensive, but also necessary to maintain stability.

**What problems is Method CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Method CRM solved our challenge with accurately tracking Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR). They set up a solution that allows us to import our monthly reports and easily sort the data by TSD and customer. This gives us clear visibility into our revenue by TSD, by customer, or both, making reporting and analysis much more efficient and accurate.

**What do you dislike about Method CRM?**

The customization process with Method CRM is really cumbersome and costly. Instead of allowing a general overview, you have to handhold through each button click, which just draws out the whole process. Then they charge for every little change instead of just making them on the call. It's also problematic that information is spread across different areas and isn't user-friendly for sales reps. I never even got to the point of using the software because after meeting with their customization expert, I realized it wouldn't be a good fit and asked for a refund. But they stopped responding, and even after trying to get in touch with the team lead, it was just a dead end, sticking strictly to their policy without a solution. The initial setup was terrible too, and I had to rate them a one because they wouldn't refund the deposit although no actual work began.

Method CRM was supposed to be completely customizable, but the customization process is really cumbersome and costly. You have to handhold through every step, which isn't user-friendly, and information is scattered across areas. It also doesn't allow placing everything in the same area.

The best thing about Method CRM is screen arrangement.  Left side has all the possible information to see customer history and spending habits. Contact information and activities are easy to access.

Currently the only thing is not being able to create a blanket purchase order in Sales Orders.

Being able to access customer data is the most important thing, the ability to find all of this information in customer profiles benefits me the most.

I really appreciate the unmatched two-way QuickBooks sync with Method CRM. The customer self-service portals are also something I find quite valuable. Additionally, I admire the trusted integration ecosystem that Method CRM offers, alongside its extensive customization options which are crucial for me. Scalability is another great aspect for service businesses using this platform. The initial setup was straightforward and user-friendly, especially for QuickBooks users, as it's designed to bridge the gap between CRM and accounting functionality quickly.

**What do you dislike about Method CRM?**

I dislike API rate limits because they are problematic for high-volume data needs, especially when syncing with Xero where there's a limit of 60 calls per minute. I also experience occasional lag and performance issues during large-scale operations, which could be smoother. Additionally, the real-time QuickBooks sync, although a core feature, sometimes has glitches and slow synchronization that could be more robust.

The two-way sync with QuickBooks Online was a must-have and works flawlessly. Implementation was straightforward, and we now use it every single day. The customization options have been outstanding, letting us tailor workflows to match how we actually operate. Method has filled gaps in our processes that other CRMs couldn’t address, making our team more efficient without forcing us to change the way we work.

Because there are so many customization options, it can take a little time upfront to set things up exactly how you want them. Also, user-level customizations are limited — most adjustments require a customization appointment. That said, the appointments are pleasant, and the Method team has been easy to work with and quick to understand what we need.

**What do you like best about Method CRM?**

I like the ability to see variations of different work order statuses at a glance, and how easily I can add and remove items. I also appreciate being able to add photos to the tickets. The integration with QuickBooks and customization features are very helpful for our work order management.

**What do you dislike about Method CRM?**

Our payroll pulls from Method CRM, so if we remove or add labor items, it will adversely affect the payroll. We have to wait to move them to QuickBooks before making hour-related adjustments.

I love the seamless integration with QuickBooks, which aligns perfectly with my customer and invoice management, saving me from duplicate efforts. This ability to optimize my personalized workflow and keep everything synced between sales and accounting makes a big difference in my daily operations. I found the initial setup process of Method CRM to be quite challenging and overwhelming, especially for new users or those who are not very technical. The system offers a lot of flexibility and customization options, which is great in the long run but can lead to a steep learning curve initially. Additionally, the interface could use a modern update, and I would like to see deeper integration with other popular tools such as Zapier, WhatsApp, or social media platforms to enhance communication and optimization all in one place.

What stands out most is how seamlessly Method integrates with QuickBooks. All customer, invoice, and estimate data syncs in real time, eliminating manual entry and reducing errors. The CRM is also highly customizable we’ve tailored it to match our workflows using drag-and-drop tools and no code automation. Their customer support team is outstanding, offering personalized onboarding and quick responses to setup questions.

The interface feels slightly outdated compared to some modern CRMs, and the learning curve for customization can be steep if you don’t have prior experience with workflow automation. Also, some features like reporting and visual dashboards could be more advanced or visually polished.

Merging people that are entered seems to have quite a few restrictions which I find frustrating, especially when we've accidentally entered the same entity twice.  When we delete someone I would like them to be completely gone instead of still showing up.

I find Method CRM helpful for solving customer complaints and verifying customer records, which aids in business management. It excels in accessing and retrieving data efficiently, benefiting my workflow. The system supports my customer service, helped by its integration with Zendesk.

I find setting up and getting used to Method CRM quite difficult initially. It has been a bit challenging for me to grow and become accustomed to its functionalities. Additionally, I think the tracking system could be improved. **What do you like best about Method CRM?**

The base features of Method CRM seem, at first blush, to provide a solid basis from which to manage your customer relationship efforts. Of course, it will take a little getting used to, but it seems as though it’s well laid out, relatively intuitive, and simple to navigate. We will be requesting a few custom Integrations to help our process run smoother, but the fact that those are available is a definite plus. 

Update: We had a list of five initial Customization and/or featureintegration requests. Of those 53 were already available modules while the other two would take some customization. We are currently waiting for a bid on the cost of those customizations.

I’ve only had the software for a few days and I’m currently diving in to see and use some of the more in-depth features of the software.

That said, when I have had questions or inquiries that needed to be answered, they were swiftly resolved once I got to a human CSR. Every representative I’ve spoken with has been kind, patient, and very knowledgeable to the level of their position (i.e.: I’m not expecting a customer service representative to have all the answers about the customization process, etc.)

**What do you dislike about Method CRM?**

Some of the default settings are a little bit difficult to get used to as they don't fit our needs. Most are minor while others are more bothersome adlnd extraneous. I’m told that the customization route could resolve some of these issues so I’m hoping that is the case.

**What problems is Method CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a single repository of customer, data and information has been the tremendous upgrade to our previous “system“ where everyone’s notes and info were siloed on their individual computer systems.

This has improved our continuity and track ability with fewer, if any, client inquiries falling through the cracks. this has led to a more consistent client experience and less backtracking and wasted time in client management.

I know all CRM’s work to provide this consolidation of information but Method seems to fit our needs relatively well so far.

Great way to capture new leads, track opportunities and simple ways to keep things on track by creating activities to help remember to follow up with opportunities - has already saved me from losing 2 opportunities to neglect (forgetfulness).  Very easy to use. I use it daily.  Love that I can use this anywhere I am as long as I have internet i can check my leads.  Very easy to implement and intergrate with Quickbooks

**What do you like best about Method CRM?**

Our business is very unique. Custom production per order that requires communication in several departments and multiple stages to complete each item on an order. We're not quite manufacturing, not driven on purchase orders, not based on customer communications and Method CRM is so adaptable to our needs. It is extremely easy to implement the service and integrate with Quickbooks Desktop (where MANY softwares won't). The customizations are ENDLESS so we can certainly see how it can grow with our business as we fine-tune and get comfortable with eliminating our paper trails of everything, everywhere! When a customer calls we can quickly see the status of tracked activities, where we are at with a project, and the communications log between multiple employees and the customer. Method'd customer support has been outstanding. Their help center, video tutorials, live chat, expert consultants... everyone has been so very professional, helpful and intuitive. They really want you to succeed. We use it EVERY DAY now!

**What do you dislike about Method CRM?**

Nothing. The customization platform is different than i am used to, but it is very much like Excel so once you understand how it works you can really get an idea of the endless possibilities of how it can be adapted to serve you. I haven't scratched the surface yet and it has been well worth the efforts and initial stress of making a change in our old routines.

One suggestion would be to find a type of way to implement Quickbooks Desktop Intuit Payments. If there was a way to allow our customers to make payments on the Portal using our desktop payments link or similar it would put the cherry on the cake! For now we have created a credit card authorization form at the time of signing and accepting the estimate and this allows us to process manually.

**What problems is Method CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to have project folders for every order. If a customer wanted to make a change or the folder was misplaced or an employee needed to make a project note and used a scrap piece of paper, it was very troublesome to track all copies of the same order prior to invoicing the project. We wanted all information in one place. Method CRM allows our production staff, field technicians, clerical employees, and Managers/Admins to run all of their tasks on ONE place. Calls and emails are attached to the customer file within Method CRM. Stages in production for each item on an order is tracked and linked to the work order. I can send estimates and invoices, display helpful documents on the Customer Portal. Allow my customers to see past transactions and estimates and accept new work within their Portal. Its professional and its branded to us.

Complete bait and switch scenario.  They sold us one thing and we were bamboozled every step of the way.

**What do you like best about Method CRM?**

The best thing about Method is how easy it is to manage leads and customer information, and being able to have everything related to that customer (invoices, estimates, proposals) in one place, where everyone can have access to.
The fact that it syncs to quick books in real time is a real added value for our company!
And whatever questions we have, their support team are just an email away, and are always ready to have quick calls with us to show us around when needed, or discuss features and how they can be used.
They also offer customization services to enable companies to tweak things the way they would work best for them!

**What do you dislike about Method CRM?**

If they had project management features, like enabling the user to make a process of tasks with automation, it would make it the perfect one-stop-shop!

**What problems is Method CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having everything in one place. The customer details, their related projects, invoices, estimates... And everyone can access that!

**What do you like best about Method CRM?**

This program is well thought out and has many features to help grow your business.  It seems well suited for a company with multiple sales people and will help maintain communication between the staff.  

It can easily work with Quickbooks though the sync is not quite as quick as they lead you to expect.  Information imported from Quickbooks often needs editing in Method to make it most useful in this program.  

Customer support, though slow, will work with you to get your issues solved even if it takes hours or days to get solved.

**What do you dislike about Method CRM?**

The program is not intuitive and requires instruction to use it to its maximum functionality.  The process of customizing can be overwhelming because of the level of detail in the process.  

I wish things were simplified so that tasks did not require as many clicks as they currently do. Often you have to open 3-4 levels of screen to edit one thing. 

FAQ/ help doesn't always turn up results that relate to the question so you have to contact customer support which is a lengthy process.

Tracking sales leads and opportunities for further sales growth.

**What do you like best about Method CRM?**

Once you familiarize yourself with the CRM's structure, you can use the help videos/knowledgebase and YouTube to start creating your own apps within the CRM and designing them to your specific needs. The support team provides an hour of free customization, and they are great to work with!
Integration with QB Desktop was a must for us - works great and updates immediately.
Depending on the apps one needs, this CRM was easy and fast to start and implement. We use it daily, it is the first we open each day ... We do not use the calendar feature. We use the contacts, activities, and a couple of customized apps.

**What do you dislike about Method CRM?**

One has to educate oneself on the customization ... unless you want to pay the support team for it, which is always an option. So that could be a drawback for some users.

**What problems is Method CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Anything can be customized - you can slim apps down or build new ones, change the website designs and layouts, add your firm logo .. there are endless customizations possible.

I like the ease of adding and looking up customers, invoices and estimates. It's very simple to organize. I love the interactive customer support who take their time to explain each process.

I don't like the fact that Method is not in perfect sync with QB Online.

So far I love the diversity of applications that method provides and will be able to provide for my company. They have been able to take 25 years of this company's experience and simplify it to stream line the processes and put them all in 1 place. The customer service has been fantastic and I have enjoyed getting to work on my processes with my representative. Eric Tran has been an absolute joy to work with.
