Melissa Data Quality Suite has completely transformed how we manage data hygiene within our Customer Data Platform (CDP). Its parsing and standardization features ensure that data from disparate sources is instantly unified and cleansed. This makes our identity resolution within the CDP much more accurate, saving our data team hours of manual deduplication work each week and ensuring our downstream analytics are actually reliable. What do you dislike about Melissa Data Quality Suite?

The transactional, volume-based pricing model can scale up quickly when you are feeding continuous streams of data from multiple touchpoints into a CDP. Because a CDP constantly pulls in both high- and low-value interactions, you have to be very strategic about where and when you implement Melissa's verification steps in your data pipeline to keep consumption costs predictable. Our data engineering team struggled with spending hours writing and maintaining custom scripts to parse and normalize messy customer records from disparate sources.
