While MeisterTask is fantastic overall, I do wish there were more customization options for the task boards and templates. Sometimes, the simplicity can be a bit limiting for more complex projects. Additionally, it would be great to have more integrations with other tools we use daily. But honestly, these are minor issues compared to the overall benefits. The program is visually elegant, simple to use, and has all of the features required to get started in the free edition. I upgraded to a paid level because I wanted to manage more boards than the free version allowed. However, I learned after upgrading that EVERYONE collaborating with me had to be upgraded if I wanted to use the upgrade features in my boards. The colorful kanban type interface, the multiple projects list you can have, colorful tags, integration from mindmeister, easy integration from other websites to spawn tasks. I use it on my phone, tablet, my ipad. Great looking dashboard too! I can use it as an engineer, or use it as a sales pipeline, manage work and play tasks...I use it as a notes database in my favorites, great search function, can assign tasks to my wife and others si she can execute things on my behalf Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is an awesome tool in my opinion. I cannot fault the features I use. Its available on my phone, ipad and windows 10 so my tasks are always available. I probably take on too much work because the tool makes it look easy to accomplish. :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

MeisterTask has been an extremely useful tool over the past 2 + years I've been using it, both as an employee and a graduate student. For solo tasks, I make the most use out of the recurring automated tasks for regularly occurring meetings or weekly assignments. For tasks I'm working on with coworkers, we use the chat and "watching" feature most frequently so that everyone stays up to date on the latest progress and can easily reassign it to whoever should be working on said task that day. A very minor suggestion would be to allow for multiple people to be assigned to different parts of a task. For example, if someone creates a multi-step task within MT, it might be helpful to have one step assigned to the original task-maker and the next step assigned to a coworker. In this way, the task could appear as "assigned" on both individuals' dashboards without having to go back and forth through the chat feature or email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ability to change the status of tasks and assign them to team members. Though not all team members were advocates of this method of record-keeping, I found it a useful way to organize my thoughts and keep the project on task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
