I think every organization should have a Digital Asset Management workflow for their shared assets, brand materials, marketing collateral, etc. Digital Asset Management Systems (DAMs) are the category of platform/software that MediaValet operates in and they typically contain a lot of useful tools for the management and distribution of these assets. In terms of MediaValet specifically, it's a Canadian company with good pricing, very responsive support and onboarding team. Finally, I think moving assets onto a Digital Asset Management System helps organizations prepare their assets/meta-data for future AI tools that will leverage centralized and labeled organizational assets. I don't have significant problems with the software, but the process of launching the software and getting users across my organization with varying levels of technical proficiency, buy-in, and different needs to consistently use a centralized platform like MediaValet was difficult.
