"Maxqda: Finding a Needle in a Haystack. Very useful for just about any office"

What do you like best about MAXQDA?

Maxqda is a powerful research tool for finding information in a giant mess of files. It really helps when you’re trying to locate that “needle in the haystack” and pull out what matters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MAXQDA?

There are a few drawbacks. First, you can no longer purchase a perpetual license. The company ended perpetual licenses after Maxqda 22, and I think this is a mistake.

With a one-year license, if you spend countless hours working on a project and then your license expires, you won’t be able to edit that project again in the future unless you purchase another one-year license. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MAXQDA solving and how is that benefiting you?

My colleagues and I use Maxqda almost daily in our policy unit. After building a database of documents we regularly need to draw on, it’s very easy to retrieve information and quickly find previously vetted and approved language and expressions.
