What I like most about Maxima is the way it takes some of the repetitive work out of accounting and gives the finance team more time to focus on reviewing information and dealing with exceptions. The ability to work with financial data, prepare accounting entries, support reconciliations and help explain variances is particularly useful when there are a lot of transactions to work through.<br><br>For our team, having more of the preparation handled systematically is helpful because it reduces the amount of manual checking and gathering of information that normally has to happen before we can review an item. There is still a learning curve when introducing a new approach to accounting workflows. The team needs time to understand how Maxima fits into existing processes and where human review should remain part of the workflow.
